    Bikirom?

I have spoken to a few people who swear by bikirom and am wondering if anyone here has used it. Yes i did a search. http://www.bikirom.com/News.php
  4. the 240sx is getting 20-city and 25-highway. That is with pretty frequent quick streetlight exits.

Sorry no techs named Andy that i can think of
  6. Take it to the dealership in a few weeks and say "In the mornings when rolling windows up, I hear a groaning sound and sometimes they take a little longer to reach the top. Sounds as if the motor is wearing out". Get your oil changed and a car wash the same visit and they should replace both motors under warranty, Especially if you seem really concerned about it. good luck
  7. 2006 is the best year to get. I saw the least problems with them, everything lasted onger on them. Brakes are better, and all the bugs are pretty much gone. Take care of it i Love those cars.
  8. Sounds incredible. Great job on one of the quickest rb swaps around.

One of these days i must see your skylines. I get so jealous when i see the pics or your videos. As im sure you know we have a 240sx with an rb20 and were building an rb26 in the garage right now so seeing your cars will only fuel the fire of inspiration

Nope went from pinnacle Infiniti in Scottsdale to the Brand Spanking new Power Nissan off the san tan 202 and Gilbert rd. 10 min drive to this delarship as opposed to the hour and fifteen drive to infiniti. and the hour drive to the Nissan Proving grounds south of Maricopa I worked at a while back.
  12. We have an extremely tight driveshaft fit on our rb20 in the 240sx. When we got a similar noise i thought it was due to the shaft but found the bushings holding the diff up had torn causing it fo move when shifting. Check all your mounting points before you condemn the shaft.

So I work at a large Nissan Dealership in Chandler AZ. I went up to the drive to talk to one of the service advisors when out on the drive I saw heaven. A 1972 240z completely original. It was brought in by a 70 something y-o lady. She said she bought it originally here in az right out of the showroom. She had just pulled it out of storage after 15 years of sitting. the odometed showed 44392 it had original paint! Dual su Stock everything. The carbs need adjustment but everything else works. It even had the funky wire wheel covers. I begged and begged but she wont sell it.
  14. Holy wow that was quick (thats what she said ) Great Job Scotty. Cant wait for some good vids.

  17. Ok tried now we know that this does not work thanks
  18. So we just got an n1 gt28r from an r34 and wanted to just pop it in the rb20. We noticed that the elbow and manifold flange is different on the exhaust housings. the center section looks to be the same diameter and the bolt pattern from the center section to the exhaust housing is the same. Has anyone put the center section and compressor housing from the gt28 Into the exhaust housing of the t25. I know the ratios will prob change but thats ok to me. I had a mitsu style turbo on my old celica and i did this and it worked great. Any ideas?
  19. We got our 26 from tiger and they were awesome about everything. Not the best prices but great product. After ripping it apart, our 26 seemed to have even less miles than they claimed. They even went so far as to get a lawyer and serve UPS court papers Because they "lost" out clip. Definately would deal with tiger again
  20. Man I have loved watching everything going on with your car. It has given me plenty ideas and hope for the 26 build im knee deep in. Thanks a lot. Keep posting videos and other good stuff. Good luck
  21. I would stick with the Brad Davis idea. Its so much easier and cleaner. great job on the project btw.
  22. I think the drive belt you have on here Should support everything you will throw at it. Honestly looks like an awesome build. I have seen several of the single turboed trucks getting nearly 20mpg on the highway but that was with very, very careful driving. Enjoy
  23. This is the saddest story I have heard since the kids wheelchair got stuck in the grille of the big rig. Glad its working now. Good luck
