  1. Raff actually the bearings are for the rb26 carand yes i did get them they are perfect. I am however still waiting on the bill Brian my thoughts exactly. We went to the track on friday night at firebird. Results: Best With the automatic 15.2 1/4 2.6 60ft 91 mph Best with the manual but with the crappy 195's 14.3 1/4 2.6 60ft 103 mph Now that we have the good tires and wheels on the rear im hoping to bring the 60ft wayyyyyyy down and maybe make some mid to high 13 sec passes (fingers crossed). boost is still stock but we are trying to sell the gt28 we have lying around to get a descent t3/t4 and raise the boost. maybe later this month we can meet up ive been dying to go for a ride in your car. even though neither or our cars are set up for the 1/4 it will always be fun.
  2. Actually the civic in the back was a friend who was moving around because the veiw kept getting obstructed by the truck. The loading dock is fairly secluded but at wot you can hear the car for days
  3. So after doing the manual rb25 trans swap (provided by brian) and the new suspension, brakes and a crapload of other stuff but before the 5-lug and good wheels were put on the rear, Jer and I decided to put the old tires to rest. in this video you can actually see smoking rubber chunks flying through the air. Enjoy -manny
  4. God i love that car. Sounds incredible. Stupid half shafts. Congrats on getting it out looking forward to hopefully seeing it around the valley soon.
  5. My vehicles are in AZ on foot and in a rental everytime I am in md (fiance goes to John's Hopkins Pre-med). The current z has Is completely gutted waiting for time to be able to prep, The 240sx has the rb20det, rb25 trans, AM Performance goodies, Mines ecu, VLSD, 5 lug conversion, 4 piston front brakes, extremely comfortable interior, k-sport suspension, and 1 million poly freakin bushings. Its fun. Lastly a Completely torn down rb26 sitting in the garage waiting for parts so i can put that in my roomates car . I need to finish the 26 build before i can move and even then i dont know what to do with the cars. Stupid charles village and the ridiculous pay parking. Would definately love to meet up though I wont be there till jan or feb
  6. I am in B-more charles village area at John's Hopkins several times a year (maybe living there soon)
  7. Just had our driveshaft modified (auto rb20 swapped with rb25 manual). The yolks were different spline count so the company ordered a new yolk and installed it. Now that its in the car it only slips over the trans output shaft about 2" the yolk is about 4.5" long total. So for right now we are babying it and not driving it much. We are thinking about having a 1" spacer made for where it bolts to the r200 kinda like lifted truck guys do untill the money is availabe for a longer shaft. It should put about 300-325 at the wheels soon. So what i need to know is if i should be worried? Another tech at work says his scca car is only in about 1.5" and its fine bt i trust this forum more thanks manny ps it will be pushing 275's street tires in the rear never slicks
  8. Man Thats so freakin awesome!!! I cannot wait to check it out again!!
  9. The 20 bellhousing does only mate to the 240sx KA and silvia SR trannys. I would think that with the power you will be making these probably wont be up to the task
  10. Sorry the north america car will be LHD
  11. Stay in the family and check out the AWD Murano. Less room than the van but then its sporty and doesnt feel like a bus.
  12. yup even the newer 350z's and the G35's and soon g37's have the split intake like that. Works very well for them. I know all of you guys are hating on them because they look different and all but look at them from the beginning way back when. They have gone through so many changes that its ridiculous. making it look look exactly like the R34 of years ago would have been a Terrible business move by nissan. When the wheel smoke clears look at how much better this one is than the others. Ya its a v-6 and not inline but it puts way more out of the box power than the previous ones (even with all the current ridiculous emissions and dot laws they had to tip-toe around). There will be a manual (I drove in one). Not trying to bash everyone at all, but wait till you drive in one. You wont be dissappointed. Ya, I know, many of your z's havwe more power but off the showroom floor its a better car then the 911 and the z06 (i also witnessed this firsthand) Its Awesome im done now
  13. Gonna be pressing in more poly bushings tonight so we wont be there till about 7:30 but we will be there
  14. Do it i have been looking forward to seeing both of yours and his cars.
  15. What time are you planning on getting there spencer? Brian are you and Tim coming if so what time are you passing my way? I hate working on saturdays!!!
  16. That coil cover and front cover combo is freakin ridiculous
  17. Mull you are back!!! Looking forward to more HUGO videos. Hope the project is still coming strong.
  18. loved the nico car of the month write up booztd congrats
  19. with the factory ecu the power comes from the harness but through the factory o2 sensors. The o2 sensors keep it in either open or closed loop. would wiring them to a constant voltage source with the resistors would keep them in open loop? Or is the ecm supplied ground pulse width what keeps the cold and hot loops different? Im probably speaking from my a$$ right now but im wondering if that will make any difference.
  20. SO PURRDY Ive got $250 cash money seriously i would love this clutch but it is was overkill for my inferior project
  21. Go break his Ford that shouldnt be to hard
  22. to be honest they have been road testing them for about 2 1/2 years here in the states from the desert here even to alaska. They were originally running the platform underneath un-baged G35 coupe bodies. The wat to tell was that the G35 was widened at all corners and the diffuser that covered most of the undercarriage. to the normal person they were "ordinary" infinitis. they were able to drive around without camo and no one suspected a thing. There were several running around phoenix for a while and i know the Oening mills plant had a few in town also. THEY ARE AWESOME
  23. Picked up the rb25 tranny from Brian (AKWIKZ) yeaterday. I have to say that was one of the most fun experiences i have had lately. Stepping into his garage was like walking into a dream. Everything i spend all day dreaming about he had lying around! Great guy to deal with. Kenny, that was an amazing packing job on that trans. Ordering the spec clutch today and deciding on a flywheel and probably ordering that today depending on how busy we are at work (ya i had to work opn a saturday, whats up with that). Wish me luck.
