modifying ford 160lb/hr (yes, 1680cc/min) injector to fit mazda 13b-re secondary fuel rail. had a loose fit all the time, then i thought "hey, why not use TWO orings on the top?"
ding! works like a charm, i hope it doesn't leak
left: original injector, middle: mod, right: stock 550cc mazda injector that used to occupy its spot.
I couldn't drill it out because that would leave walls too thin, and if I messed up, I'd be out of a modified (6an on both ends, pressure tested) fuel rail. In retrospect, I should've bought a premanufactured fuel rail that accepts those injectors... but they're over 220 bucks!
