  2. its not an age thing. im 18 and i was thinking it would be wise to back out of it also. im going to have to listen for the sound also. i think he might have edited it out thou. got the stupid music instead.

  4. how much for the 3 in. Mandrel bent Vildini exhaust with Megan Racing N1 muffler, Honda Wheel adapters, and 280z short shift kit? btw this is matt from myspace (aka masew). we spoke before.
  5. before i had the z i wanted an e30. People where turboing m20 motors like crazy. You can use a 524td manifold to turbo it. (kinda the equivilant of using a 280zx turbo manifold in a z that isnt turbo) i still do want one but the z is what i got now. and the plus side is that the zed is smog exempt so i could swap almost anything in there where the e30 i would have to smog and all this other dmv stuff i would have to fill out. maybe one day...

  11. not very nice. haha i dont see why they would do that. the 4cyl that was in there before has plenty of potential. and there have been a few people who have swapped another m3 motor (the big six s52) in an e30 and had a blast. now that would be fun but add a turbo (if u can fit it) and ur made.
  12. it looks good i think. but ur right dont mention aftermarket stuff on classiczcars. most are old and get butt hirt if u mention anything thats not original. one of the reasons i dont post there as often as i use to. i feel more at home here.
  13. it would have helped if i would have pluged the 3 cylinder wires that were out on the other side haha. kinda weird that the car was able to idle on 3 cyls thou haha. i feel like an idiot....

  15. first of all i have very little mecanical expericance (ok i lie, i dont have much at all). i have a 280z that is stock. wanted a little more prefomance so i installed headers. i started to install headers and put everything back went to start the car. this ridiculous poping noise at idle. i pressed the gas and it dies completely. that was yesterday and now today it wont even idle. i did remove all the intake, injectors and fuel rail to install the headers. maybe i didnt do something right when putting everything back? it wont even idle anymore and the sound coming out of the exhaust is this stupid poping noise. help please! id like to use the car tommrow.

  17. what about an e30 bmw 3 series? theyre fun cars, reliable, smooth running inine 6, 2.5 ac and heater and all the other little bmw goodies. the 325i's are nice but if u want there is also the "e" which is better on gas. then theres the 318. 4 cyl in the same body. all are reliable imo. I had an e28 super eta (same motor, m20 but bigger body) and it had 300,000 miles and was still running beautifully.
  18. theres nothing wrong with modifying zs. and i havent done a v8 swap yet and at least that would be undercover. no one would know unless it could be heard. that on the other hand.....how could u miss it? my opinion of corse. not to me haha. but why? theres a poor z under there somewhere! dont get me wrong the guy who did it is talanted thou. of corse i respect the opinion of others. thats just mine.
  19. not worthy to be called a z anymore. its ugly. its a 4cyl. probobly something that would be drivin in an area where people have cars sitting on bricks in they;re front lawn. list goes on haha. just my opinion thou.
