  1. Thanks. I'm really curious, I hope the fumes arn't too bad. It's a weekend/track car so i'm not worried. I'll have a little sound clip soon if I can get away with the noise.
  2. In my attemps to lighten the car some more I tossed my old exhaust system and made this one which weighs 12 LBS and 1/3 the length. It's just two 1 3/4'' mandrel bends that come into a 2 1/2 in/out x 18'' glass pack. Finished it by cutting a hole in the fender and covering it with some aluminum. So... Does it flow with the body?
  3. Nice! And I thought I was the only one in this world that liked them. What I'd like to do If I had one..... Congrats!
  4. Sweet ride John. Hope it doesn't slow down the build on the real track car.
  5. The work looks great. I would try and connect the top of the rad. support with the bottom frame rail somehow.
  6. Crappy driver, powerful car, windey road.... Yeah that's pretty much what you get.
  7. 71 240Z w/ RB25DE & 5-speed + R200. Full interior w/ sound system + Autopower 6-point. 14 x 7 Wats, all glass, bumpers, 2 Recaro reclinables, Large radiator, Toy Calipers, 1/4 tank gas..... 2460 LBS
  8. Looking good Camron, Fast progress! That reminds me, I need to get to work as well! by the way, have you gotten the engine running yet?
  9. Heres how it boils down for me. S13 pro's : Affordabe, light, simple, very easy to work on, parts availibility, aftermarket parts, easy to drive very forgiving, comfortable enough to drive daily. cons: everyone and their mom has one today, esp. with the drifters. S14: same as S13 but better looking and better for daily. Z32: Pros: rare, herritage, looks like a sports car should look, good brakes, LSD, and other goodies with TT model, handles well. Cons: confined with space to work, heavy, dont know about now but when I was looking for one they were pricey.
  10. Don't worry so much about the fuzz and your harness, besides, it's your saftey and any properly mounted harness is better than the stock belts. I've daily driven an S13 for 3 years with a red 4-point and my S30 with the same belts for 4 years with no problems in the LA area. I welded .125 wall round tube across the strut towers to serve as a STB and my harness bar. I wouldn't want my body held by a bolted STB in a collision....
  11. Now that NY is going to the bowl I want the Pats to win.....
