hello everybody *big wave, eats moon pie* alright been searching and stuff and now im looking for experienced opinions. i want to do away with my afm so i can run my intake liek i want blah blah blah. and have been scared of the megasquirt due to the complication of it. but from what ive read i think its sounds a alot worse than waht it is. so iwas wondering, would this be useful for a basicly stock setup, within 2 weeks going to purchase msa60mmTB adn slapit on there, runnning a 2.75 exhaust, 78 l28by the way,(non turbo). And how is the ease of use once you start tuning with it? and whats the installation time on it,not asking for specifis down to hours but, is it a weekend job or a borrow wifes car and park it in the shade and grab a beer job?thanks for the help ahead of time! ron

i shaved mine frotn and back took everything off shock absorbers everythign. Then i welded sheet metal into holes and fiberglassed over front and back smootehr and painted just my two cents

Wife has a pontiac grand prix se motor in her olds oh yeah its bad. but anyways its doing strange stuttering things now and dying if you put laod on the motor at idle Example-> while at idle putting the power steering under strain can kill it. Check Engine light does come on sporadicly when it starts stuttering that is. any suggestions? Fuel filter maybe? gonna try to find it soon. . . its not in the engine bay hte olds by the way is a 95 88royal anybody knwo where its at on this car? thanks ron

ive heard of it (live in north georgia) have a bunch of cbr900 and cbr991(i think thats right) that go up there a few times a year to play, im goin to check out the website thanks for reminding me.

id check the standard stuff, plugs, filters, vacum lines for leaks, intakes for leaks, vacum advance off the dizzy for leaks(dotn know if that would cause what yoru describing but hey who knows) bad fuel? dizzycap arcing could do it if its crossfiring mine did that. hmmmm and whatever else anyoen says, if you arnt satisfied with that do a search or two you can learn wonders this way about anything and everything

Is the haynes manual pretty much right on, when it comes to headgasket replacement? think i may have a problem with mine gotta do some more inspecting but jsut wanting the opnion of soem people that have doen it before! Thanks in advance!
