  1. I'm done playing. I need to order some material and make it happen. I'll refine the design a little, but this is basically it. Justin
  2. I was modeling the 2JZGE intake flange yesterday so I can machine some custom velocity stacks and plenum. I'll post the solidworks file for those that are interested once I add the fuel rail mounting bosses. Justin
  3. What is the distance from the intake manifold mounting surface on the head to the brake booster and strut tower? I'm building a custom intake manifold for my 2JZ swap, and was curious about these dimensions. I wont have the motor in for a little while, but I'm getting started on the intake manifold in the time being. Thanks for the help. Regards, Justin
  4. I'm looking for a 2JZGTE valve cover. Does anyone have the set forsale? Justin
  5. If you do a properly divided manifold that gt4082 will spool faster then the GT35R. Seems kinda wierd that it has a .63 a/r on it. Is that a T3 housing?
  6. The gt3076 isn't going to make much more power at the same boost pressure. You're looking at the same turbine wheel, so backpressure isn't going to be much better. Unless your gt3071r is completely maxed out at 20psi, your not going to gain much by going to the gt3076r. Atleast step up to a larger turbine housing when your going to the gt3076. Justin

  8. Honestly if you are trying to make the most power at 20psi (upper limit for pump gas), your not going to gain a huge amount of power swaping to a larger turbo. A larger turbo will make more power at higher boost, but won't make much more then you are currently making at 20psi. A larger turbo will gain power from less backpressure, but it will compress the air around the same efficiency that your currently doing. Justin
  9. Not True. The gt3082r is a big mismatch. It spools about like the gt35r, but doesn't make the power. You'd think that going to small turbine wheel would give you the best of both worlds. The small turbine wheel can't generate the axial forces necessary to efficiently move the larger compressor wheel.
  10. Damn Buddy!!!! way to go! Sorry I couldn't make it out today. I had to work this weekend. Is the new wastegate/downpipe setup holding boost better now? Seems like your MPH has gone up a ton! I'm glad things are working so sweet for your car! Justin
  11. Here are some more pictures:
  12. They are from a honda s2000. They dont fit well at all. Major cutting and welding of the sheetmetal around the transmission tunnel and bellow the seat. Justin
  13. Careful with all that traffic. No need to get someone else killed. Justin
  14. You still around Mull? Whats been happening with your project? Justin
  15. I think an aux rev limiter will go a long way to having consistent launches. I really think the issue you have is with lack of suspension travel with the unsectioned struts and the shorter springs. I hope that the trimming you did on the bump stops will alleviate these issues. Does tire pressure play a roll when on street tires? Justin
  16. Any more track days on these? I'm thinking about trying these out when I pull my suspension apart this winter. Justin
  17. Will it do a 6 cylinder sequential?
  18. You might need to raise the rear up like clifton did with his car on DR's: I was thinking you could machine down the face of the rear drums if you needed 5mm of more clearance. I'm thinking of running 245/40-17 all around on these wheels.
  19. Here's a properly orientated picture showing this issue:
  20. Here's what the 17X8.5 look like: http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=126343 Regards, Justin
  21. I'm ordering a set soon. They look really nice I think. How deep is the lip? Regards, Justin
