    I have seen a company make oem wheels wider, they actually cut the rims in two pieces and add between the two pieces. im trying to see where I saw this

    First of all my condolences to you and you family I have just read this entire thread, you are doing a superb detailed job! thank you for being so thorough and for posting links.I dont have a Z yet just currently doing as much hw as I can. This is the swap I plan on doing, keep up the good work, looking forward to the completion of this build.
