  1. Shot a wedding/rehersal dinner for a friend of my wife as a paid supplemental photographer over the weekend. I figured I'd go for the photo-journalism/background detail shots that the high-paid main photographer wasn't getting. Nikon D70 with 18-135mm lens. I also shot with my 35mm Olympus OM10 (mother of the bride insisted there be film also), but haven't had the film developed yet.
  2. B_sosick, those pics look under exposed to me, overexposed pics are all black, under exposed are light and grainy.
  3. SSR had a fan blade style wheel back in the day, good luck finding any. I saw some on ebay once (and only once). They were more than I wanted to spend. If you want a wheel like that for brake cooling or whatever, there used to be a cap you could put on your deep dish BBS wheels that acted like a fan to extract the air from your wheelwells. like these: Primadonna Z said he's got a set for his car also. I've never seen these in person, just in photos. I suspect they're pretty rare at this point also since BBS's website doesn't mention them at all.
  4. Can I get the ugliest bodywork paperplate award?
  5. I've seen a Fidanza SR20DE flywheel do that also, supposedly it's normal but nobody could tell me what it was. It was really bad on startup in my friend's car. My Jim Wolf flywheel/clutch setup on my 02 Altima doesn't do it though. I'd pull the tranny and check the bolts. Maybe you broke a fork off of your pressure plate?
  6. Just in time! I'm moving to Orlando to go to Grad School, and I need some desk toys to be cooler than the guy next to me! So far I've got the ZF1-J, all those Choro-Q minis that I got from Corzette, and a big plastic Mach V (with no speed racer to go with it).
  7. Best body shop in town is Gene Perez, hands down. they do all the high end cars, so they know what they can charge for it, but that's where my stepfather brought his NSX and his Porsche when they needed fixing. http://yellowpages.superpages.com/profile~SRC_comwp~C_body+shop~T_tampa~S_FL~OO_1~STYPE_S~L_Tampa+FL~CP_Automotive%5EService+%26+Repair%5EBody%2C+Frame%2C+%26+Glass%5EAuto+Body+Repair+%26+Painting%5E~R_N~PI_75~CID_494160~LID_xrz1FJJp1gD8u1Vu1Dl72Q%3D%3D~lbp_1.htm
  8. While it is more than I'd pay for Panasports, I've never seen anyone selling them in these sizes before for comparison. These aren't the street car 1-piece wheels, these are the multi-piece race line wheels, so for instance the MSA pricing doesn't apply.
  9. $140 doesn't seem like too much to pay for a quality gear. I'd be worried I'd messed up if I did it myself, I'm just not a precision type of guy...Definitely more for the guy/gal who's long on time and ability but short on cash.
  10. I've never had that kind of machine work done before, does anybody know what something like that would cost to have made (assuming you couldn't do it yourself?)
  11. What if she turned out to be like 5'3"?
  12. You can get pretty much anything to fit with the right spacer, I kind of thought Blackpearl280z was looking to just bolt them on though.
  13. http://rbmotoring.com/gallery/album100 Here is the listing from their home site, you'll notice that there are photos of every single wheel in the set. That's not how they sell wheels there (individually), the only single wheel they're selling is this one, and it's a JGTC center mount Volk that they clearly state is a single wheel and not for street use: http://rbmotoring.dreamhosters.com/gallery/album246
  14. Almost looks like the picture was taken with a flash for some reason, maybe the photographer got a little sidetracked?
  15. If they gave you real offset numbers in that link it would be easier to tell. All they tell you is the lip distance, which isn't what you need to know to determine fitment. I kind of liked these better: http://www.sportmaxwheel.com/nascar_victory_614.html You need to get in touch with Sportmax and tell them your application, let them tell you some useful dimensions for those wheels. So long as the backspace is 4.5" or less, you can get them to mount up without rubbing the strut. I don't know how wide you can go in the front and till be able to turn, I imagine you'd be safe with 8".
  16. I'd recomend rbmotoring to anybody shopping for wheels, I didn't have any problems at all with my transaction.
  17. There's two driving around here in tampa that I've seen, and maybe a third. One was white for the main color, and the other one (or two) were black. Also they had one running pace laps at the Honda Grand Prix in St. Pete, here's a pic:
  18. Somebody should buy this thing just to prove it's real...we all gave Derrick such a hard time while he was building it because he would never put up pics and it seemed so fishy. It sure turned out nice though, I hope you get what you're asking for it.
  19. Sounds like a cool project, reminds me of the guy I met with the 90's model Toyota T100 pickup with the RB25DET in it. I've got a pic of his engine bay somewhere, but it's a hard copy I'd have to find and scan...
  20. Speaking of hard to fit, I stumbled across this auction the other day: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/SSR-TOMS-TRD-WHEEL-510-240-AE86-USED-WATANABE-RIM-15x12_W0QQitemZ290075184264QQihZ019QQcategoryZ43955QQrdZ1QQssPageNameZWD1VQQcmdZViewItem
  21. Those are the same guys I got my wheels from. Their ebay store is jdmautohouse, but the web address is http://www.rbmotoring.com.
  22. Daeron, by far the fastest looking lawn ornament on the forum! except for mine of course...
  23. Looks awesome, I think it came out way smoother than mine:
