Azcarbums Gnose being installed. SS hood, both still needs some work. This area had an air pocket under it and has to be built up, I'm sure it's an initial production flaw.

Go with the AZ Zcar parts, you'll be much happier in the end. With the amount of power you're going to be making it you'll have piece of mind when stomping the WOAH pedal. Don't sweat the shimming, just have the rotors turned (slightly) after installing the hats on them, I had no problem with mine.

I'll second the bus route. You need to take the doors apart though because I almost guarrrrenty the glass will break. Also remove the brite work from the doors (window channels) and box them up seperately along with the hardware etc. So it will be 4 boxes. 2 boxes with doors (use heavy cardboard), 1 box with glass, bubble wrap and cardboard, 1 box with window channels. You may have an additional box with the regulators too if they "flop" around inside the doors. Good luck and let us know how it turns out.

How about it doesn't really matter until you do paint on the car. IMO (see that my opinion) I don't care for the T/A shaker hood on a Z. But you're creative and resourceful. What intake are you running anyway, why didn't you go with a different airfilter?
