  1. Over here so many people say "I was led in bed" I can't stand that one.
  2. Yes on the feed (low pressure side) .I run 2 pumps so i have -8 from the pick up of the main tank into the walboro 255 pump then into the swirl pot, -8 from the swirl pot to the bosch 044 pump....then -6 to the fuel rail. The return is also -6 which tee's into the return from the swirl pot back to the main tank.
  3. I have some Euro combo switches listing soon
  4. Thanks Clive....could do with a little of that right now....
  5. I was thinking about this the other day...none of the wires in the cable from the megasquirt to the relay board are shielded....injector drive wires mixed with the pip and saw can't be good.
  6. I run a Walbro 255 from the main tank via -8an to a swirl pot and a bosch 044 pump to feed the high pressure side. I run the return from the fuel rail back to a T fitting with the return from the swirl pot and back into the main tank...works a treat.
  7. Here are the lights I have of my parts car, Lenses are in great shape but the chrome is not so good....I guess you could get this plated or replace with a US spec light chrome section. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=270253073034
  8. I bought a pipe kit from ebay....the alloy pipes came in various lengths and bends . The hoses were poor though and burst above 10psi. Still the pipe was worth the money, I just bought some samco hoses and better clamps at a later date.
  9. mine hits its max VE number around 4100rpm ve numbers tails off after that...thats where my max torque is i guess
  10. I think the red ones look better...but then orange is common here. I have a spare euro set I will stick on ebay this weekend.
  11. Not sure if mine is the same but it looks just like and it was very cheap. It works great! only problem I had was coolant overheating when I had the IC flat against the RAD support, I pulled the bottom of the IC out to allow air under and up through the rad and not had a problem since.
  12. I was just thinking along these lines...do you need to change the injectors to use LPG? I guess you would need to remap the fuel table to match the LPG calorific (is that the right word?) and octane value. I would imagine controlling the gas pressure for a high powered engine is the problem.
  13. Golf and corrado G60 engine cars have dual throttle body that has a boost bypass for the supercharger under part throttle. I think Audi used a similar one. http://is.rely.net/2-1060-10033-l-7DMh3VLglsSHH21l0EtA.jpg
  14. Here is a rough bracket i made up...did the job but not pretty
  15. The bracket on the compressor housing will have to be cut off it you plan on using it on your datsun as you need to spin the housing round to get the outlet in the right place. I made a bracket bolted to the inlet manifold to hold the wastegate actuator.
  16. The holset actuator is the wrong rate for use on a Z engine, you need to buy one with a lower psi spring. Like this http://www.verociousmotorsports.com/Shop-by-Category/Wastegates/Turbonetics-Dual-Port-Actuator-7-5-psi this way you can have a low boost level or preload it by adjusting the threaded connector on the rod.
  17. Ok checked this again today, I have 175PSI give or take 2PSI on each cylinder. Seems like a better figure.
  18. How about the Air flow sensor? maybe the ECU is running on a pre prgrammed fuel table until it gets all the info it needs from the sensors then once its switches over its getting bad readings from the MAF . Could even be a dirty track on the TPS? this may help: http://www.atlanticz.ca/zclub/techtips/efisystem/280zfuelinjectionbook.pdf
  19. Does he have a crank sensor? if not check engine and body grounds are good.
  20. those cars don't even look that rusty, Man you guys are spoilt for choice!
  21. After spending some time on the dyno my fuel and ignition are pretty good. My engine is an F54/P90 NA with 2mm headgasket. Standard intake and standard turbo exhaust manifold. Holset HY35CW. EDIS igniton. 680cc injectors.
  22. Yeah sure here is the 8psi sheet. I'm running EDIS and timing is around 20deg at 300hp...I watched the torque and moved the timing up and down to get the best figure....I did see my knocksense light start to flicker at one point...there was no sound of knock but goes to show it can still be there.
