I actually got around to getting it a few weeks ago. Now that im legal ive driven the car less than when it was illegal. Work has me running around like crazy lately.

If it makes you feel any better...my freind with the other boosted Z has an expired sticker from like 1984 or something like that and has never gotten a ticket for it.

Let me know when you want to run them and we can meet up...Im in Spring so were pretty close to each other. It would be nice to see what the outcome would be. I dont think i put down anywhere close to your power levels but it would be fun. I have 2 other Turbo Z's that can get in on it too if you want. Theres a Friday night Domestic meet @ 2920 & 45 that we could meet at and then go for a fun run. Yeah, That was my Silver Z @ the show. I tuned my car and put it on the dyno last week so i know what kind of power im making so if we run you would be able to have an idea on your power. Have you Dyno'd It yet ?

Texis, The car looked good at the show...Cool set-up to see in person. I like the minimal piping. I bet theres not alot of lag.

RC Stuff...Brings back alot of memories I never flew planes but i did my share of Cars 1/12 1/10 1/8 1/4 Raced cars for 12 years on a semi-pro level...Got sponsored and ran a bunch of big races such as whipperwill, yatabe arena, etc. I eventually got burnt out though. Racing was alot of fun when i was on my way up but after i got to the top tier locally and regionally i didnt have the same enthusiasm for the sport as i did when i was "up and coming" Anyone here race cars still ? IF so...Is Brian Kinwald, joel johnson, Masami Hirosaka still around and racing. I wonder if WCM still makes 1/4 cars ?

I ran mine open until i could afford a system...It was really loud and got old after about a week.

I have a brand new JSK rail/hardware that i didnt end up using...I will make you a good deal

Air bags would be alot easier to construct....I have 4 firestone bags, tank, lines, brackets..If enough people want to to test ride heigth i can let someone use my set-up. It would actually be easy to install on the Z.

I just had a really bad oil leak and if it wasnt for "Flourescent dye" i would have kept looking in the wrong places. Steps: clean motor, add dye, let car run until fully warm, turn off lights...Turn on blacklight, watch the dye come out IMO this stuff is the best way to go...Its easy

JDM, If money is not a problem i would go ahead and start with Megasquirt instead of the stock ecu. Price for the uncut harness and ecu would probably be around $150-$250 so if your willing to spend a little more you could get megasquirt and boost more and have alot more tuning options. The stock ecu and harness will work but if you want to upgrade things like Turbo, injectors, methanol, etc in the future you cant do it with the stock ecu. I have a friend that went with the stock ecu (paid too much) and 2 months later ended up buying megasquirt and wished he had saved his money and started with megasquirt from the beginning. Just my $.02
