Osaka JDM Motors is a company you do not want to deal with. Naturally, it looks like JazzPro got stiffed by them, and then they passed their "savings" onto you. Still doesn't justify their actions. Glad it's solved. Be sure to act swiftly with PayPal. There are plenty of sites that have a lot of bad stories about their policy, and people losing out on money.

Yeah it would be a bit of work to get it to sit right. I'd consider a CA20 with a CA18 transmission if it's at all possible. Probably a bit more durable than the GA16.

im tryin to find a flywheel and clutch combo, because clutches from local distributors are 375 bucks and I can get a flywheel and clutch combo for 500 bucks. I think I'm going to go with exedy but I'm waiting for someone to answer my question about applicable sizes. I cant find a combo for a 87 - 89 turbo... They're the unlisted bastard child because they have a larger transmission, so the pressure plates are different. I wouldn't mind like a spec stage 1 or 2, but they are too expensive.

Anyone? I need to order a clutch this week. Everyone I call is no help

GA16DE if it's a reliable engine you're looking for. Just get a complete refresh kit and replace the rings. Should outlast the car.

Hey it could have been worse. you're ok, and the car is still good enough to repair. Be thankful! A lot of what is to be done is still less than what work a lot of us have started with and are still doing. Now, it will just have to be better than it was before the accident. Nothing wrong with that

AD244 hmmmmm. I have a GM12 si that is a remanufactured casing (the new ones are made cheaply and not as well built apparently). Stony, i've read that a lot of people have bench tested the splitfire coils in one way or another and saw them to be lack-luster upgrades. Is it possible that the HKS Fcon can run LS1/Suburban coils?

Good info. Thanks for posting. I see that a lot of times people do small mods that they completely forget about or don't document that would save people a lot of time to buy the right stuff and get the job done in one shot, even if it involves work and creativity. Sometimes Fidanza flywheels require shorter bolts for certain cars, and people are stuck with a car on the hoist, or grinding down stock bolts to make it work. This slave cylinder rod is a new one, and I'll look out for it this week with my clutch swap! Raff
