although the fan is an integral part. don't rely solely on the fan itself. you don't want the fan clicking on and off and putting strain on the alternator.
i know, it wouldn't really happen in an instant, and you won't be changing alternators as often as underwear (3 month cycle, no!? ) but it's something to look out for with mega-high amperage fans.
If I were you I'd look at a colder opening thermostat so that it keeps temp down before the water gets too hot for the radiator to effectively cool the system. The longer you wait, the longer it takes, and the radiator does not change in size by itself.
Try using Evans NPG coolant if possible, email or call them and see what they can offer you for a street application. (and let me know what they say, I've not had the time to call them yet).
Also, try running de-ionized water to avoid rusting out the water galleys in your engine. I know a lot of people don't give a crap and never have problems, but why take chances when drinking water is the same price depending on where you look?
