  1. And the fact that the person who started it will not only be the slowest of the bunch due to his setup, but also won't be back in here with some relavent info until 2010! :'( i didn't include you cause i'll include you when you ready!
  2. floating portrait of a portait machine, Ron!? Looks good, get some full colour faces in there, you gots grand kids! "no pictures, no ice cream!"
  3. ouch. heard about the lady who went in for a check on her leg or something and came out with a new anus?
  4. my ARP 2000s came with a paper saying 43lbs. :-/ so if you find something around there it would probably be right... just to aid in the search
  5. Q, i'm going to post an exploded view of the standard system, then I can get your part numbers for what you need and we can get them from the dealership. EDIT: Below this post are the R34 Power Steering Sections. (5 in total)
  6. I'm gonna move to a local forum. See ya, HBZ!
  7. "absolutely, this is it, maybe." - dog the bounty hunter. LOL
  8. well that's how the 76 EFI system is, i believe. There's ways to modify it or bypass the EFI relay connections so that it primes the system, but It shouldn't be needed. They did it so that in the event of an accident, the fuel pump stops pumping once the engine stops turning or something like that. That way it reduces chances of fires.
  9. ingenius! now lets find some cantaloupes!
  10. You could always weld in some smaller tubes and put some incandescent bulbs..... and get a bob barker bobble head. Plinko in my car, anyone? EDIT: rdsk8tr, COME ON DAAAAAAAAYOOOOONNNN!
  11. i think it looks weird. but its cool. but weird.
  12. hahahahahaha phantom of Z opera!
  13. can someone scan it, and I can reproduce it to factory size and specs on a printable PDF using the same font and stuff. =)
  14. heck why don't you just put a welder and a bag of tubes there, so that when you FIGURE OUT what you want to do with that space, you can just weld it.
  15. heck, why not just buy vin diesel and strap him into the corner. I think the weight would be distributed pretty evenly.. i mean, driver at mid-front left-hand corner, poor actor/hostage wrapped in electrical tape (black, cause it absorbs more heat on those blaring track days) in the mid-rear right-hand corner.
  16. There was an install written at one point. Type in words along the line of "fuse box replacement" or "fusible links mod" into the search. you will see a thread with a fuse block with 4 fuses, and the ratings there seem to have worked quite well and I believe there is a chart showing which to put on what leads.
  17. That's a great method! How did u bend the pipe yourself, if so? and where'd you get the bushings?
  18. so..... only jason??? stony? evan? jerryb? booztd3? scotty? soileu? quentin? zdrifter? 240z_master? underground? et all... WHERE YOU GUYS IS?! <---(call out! o0o0o0o0o0h!)
  19. was it as good for you as it was for me?! edit: lol i love how i have a fan. you quote me in your sig all the time.
  20. I've heard of people reusing them, but rod bolts tend to be the weakest link in these motors... sooooooo, pick your pill!
  21. Standard RB26 manual states max of 76 - 83 ft. lbs. on standard head bolts. ARP states the following: http://www.arp-bolts.com/Catalog/Catalog.Pages/2005Catalog024.html 86 with ARP moly Lube. 120 with 30 weight oil. So that sounds right. I remember our resident member Dragonfly mentioning that you'd have to snap over a torque wrench at least 6 times before taking an accurate reading. So that may be something to consider. EDIT: Q, i'm not sure if you're doing the final assembly, but whoever is, here's some additional info to consider (bottom of the page) http://www.aptfast.com/ARP_Additional_Stuff/ARP_notes_info/arp_t_specs.htm there are some things I didn't consider when I took a look at that. They aren't in any of the 3 assembly books I've read either.
  22. you also said so that would lead me to believe you're talking about the RB20 motorset, no? Cause if you can find them for 400, I know of a couple of cars that I wouldn't mind shoving that thing into.
