  1. So I had my car sitting outside for a few months, and just got it into the garage the other day. It had a few leaks, so I was doing what I could to keep it dry in there, but looks like some mold formed steering wheel, center console, and just a little bit on the headrest of my seats (suede recaro lookalikes). Any techniques for cleaning it? I know a little bit of bleach in water can kill the mold, but I'm afraid of discoloring the seats. Help!

  3. Just found this thread after a long time, and I never did post a solution. In truth, I don't really remember what finally did it. I just cleaned/dried everything. I believe I needed to change the fusible link wires, but I can't say for certain that is what solved the issue. The car hasn't had this issue since then. If others have this same issue and actually know what it was that fixed it, please enlighten us for future members looking for a solution.

  5. I have a drivers door in a faded green from a '75. (will need a repaint). Does not have the window or mechanism, or outside handle. Does have the latch mechanism and inside release handle. It's in good condition but I'll take a closer look at it this afternoon.
  6. I know azcarbum has sold a few SK plenums the past several years. I recently picked up an HKS type 1 from him.
  7. Hey, I might be able to help you out. I have a '75 parts car. I'll have to take a look and see what condition the lines are in, and get an idea of how much work they will be to remove. PM me if I don't get back to you soon.
  8. Well at least we can say its not a drive line issue, unless maybe something is out of balance? double check every last electrical, fuel, vacuum connection you can. Have you changed the fuel filter? Hard to say that would be the cause though.

  11. Thanks guys! Good info for sure. I didn't mention before, but I'm going to be using an HKS type 1 plenum with my Turbo swap. ITBs would be great to keep the EFI. For nostalgia sake and bling factor and just all around cool-ness I'm still contemplating a set of triples..(yea yea I know Tony )lol. I have an R32 friend so was thinking a set of RB ITBs might be a good way to go. I'm going to keep at it and see what kind of solution I can come up with.   13. I'm really liking those adapters. I see you were selling some a while back. Do you have some left? If you do, for how much would you be willing to part with them? Its something to think about for sure. EDIT: for Z31TURBODRAY, for one, I don't know that they won't just bolt up. They very well could as the heads are somewhat similar in this regard. Also, this is HybridZ, where members come up with solutions to these kinds of problems every day, such an example can be seen above.
  14. Ok I've been searching for a while, and can't find anyone that has tried this. I'm sure its been done before. What challenges are involved? It seems like a good simple way to go the ITB route. Will the stock RB-26 intake runners bolt up to the head of an L28? Or will a carb intake manifold, such as for a triple weber setup, bolt up to the throttle bodies?

  17. Here's an example from Australia (NSW). I think something similar would be a great system here. Emphasis mine. I've also been told that during the probationary period, you aren't allowed to drive turbocharged cars. I don't know the specifics, but I somewhat agree with that as well, although it could go both ways.

  20. Lasted an entire winter in the z by driving around in a parka all the time. NO fun. I'll be keeping the heater, but only the heater/defrost. All the dashboard vents are broken/inop/or blocked. They never put out heat anyway lol
  21. I got one too! They only had the yellow here though. Actually pretty darn good quality. Even the steering wheel turns the wheels. I should have bought a couple more.
  22. I have a bit of time off, and I'm itching to go travel somewhere. I'll be traveling standby on agreements my airline has with other airlines, but a little limited with options due to a friend traveling with me. It seems Air Tran is the only one we have that allows it. They fly down to Nassau, as well as Montego Bay, Punta Cana, San Juan, Aruba, and Cancun. I've ruled out the Dominican Republic because I don't want to just stay on the resort the whole time. Haven't quite ruled out the others yet though. I don't SCUBA, but I do love to snorkel, and of course nice beaches is a selling point. I'm thinking the Bahamas because I like the idea of taking a small motorboat, or sail boat and go island hopping. If something like that is possible elsewhere, I'm all ears! I am aware that crime is increasing quite a bit around Nassau, but is it enough to want to stay away? Any ideas? thanks!
