you mean 250kts right? Don't worry I'll hold off reporting you for a ride! hahaha
On a side note, how do you like the living conditions of the corporate world? Have you done part 121 ops? Would you consider it more competitive for corporate slots?
Easy there...
I dig it. The VQ powerplant is a great swap, and I'm a fan of the newer style dash boards into z cars as well. The body work is kinda border line, but certainly nothing calling for disgust.
But to each his own I suppose. I believe he is a member on these boards though.
Ever made your way to KBLI? I know there aren't a whole lot of those planes gracing the skies, and I've seen one fairly regularly on the ramp here. (I work across the ramp for Allegiant)
How do you tell if there is a pilot at your party?
he'll tell you
Personally just a Private ticket holder myself. Going back to school this summer to continue towards a commercial lisence and never ending debt...
My dad is a commercial pilot and have grown up traveling and around aircraft my whole life. I actually still keep a current log book of all my flights. My mom started it for me at 3 weeks old, and I continued it when I was 8 or 9. I'm pretty proud of it. Kind of interesting to go back through it and see all the places I've supposedly been, but can't remember
I usually add a few keywords like 240, 260, 280z, datsun, nissan, and then whatever pertains to the item i'm listing.
The page long keywords are stupid. Keep flagging!
Do you have the same wheels on your 280z? Any pictures of it?
I'm pretty certain I'll be going with these rims now (513 design) and zg flares. Just deciding on a street tire size that will fill up the flares.
I'm going to chime in quickly, and visit something that was said earlier in the thread. I'd like to just point out that I think the tapered end to airliners actually doesn't have much to do with aerodynamics. Although it's helps for sure, the bigger reason is to allow pilots to take off at a higher angle of attack.
Would be difficult to pull the nose up if the tail was as wide as the rest of the fuselage.
maybe not so much...
Falcon racing wheels? Look like watts. Either way just had a good laugh.
Wonder when the LHD conversion was done?

Definitely fab up metal and weld if you have the means to do so.'
I ended up filling the indents in the rear panel with body filler. I wish I had welded but had no access to a welder or anyone who could do it for me apart from taking it to a shop.
Although I would do it differently If i had the means to again, I'm happy with how it turned out, and havn't had any cracking or problems with it after 4 years.
I think Jon's intent wasn't so much towards you, but anyone who might be searching this thread in the future; preventing mis-information for the people who like to speed read threads, and just pick up random sentences here and there.
Sounds like you've got your information and a plan. I've searched the same topic and I've gathered the same conclusion. Shouldn't be a problem for your set up far as I can tell. Do work! haha
