  1. Scott, I wired it for him. It uses a relay with the oem +ve used to activate the relay and a 8 gauge wire directly from the battery (actually from the main terminal of the starter). I'm using the same pump on my LT1 and it also sings at varying octaves. Tim
  2. Alex, I would think that any Farmers Insurance agent would be able to provide you with a similar deal. I don't know how much extra discount I receive for multiple policies. It is insured as 'recreational use', but there isn't a milage limitation as far as I can tell. I don't plan on driving it a whole lot, so it isn't even an issue. I have my truck insured the same way, since I rarely use it (odd home depot run etc). Tim
  3. I have all 3 cars (4 now) and my house through this agent. I just called and asked. Sent them a link to my site so they could see pics if they wanted. That's it. I did not get the car appraised, I just said I wanted $20k coverage! Tim
  4. Go to your album (via 'album' button above). Click on 'personal gallery. Click on upload. As long as the picture isn't too big, you should be set. Tim
  5. Just initiated a policy for my LT1Z. Agreed value coverage of $20,000.00, with a $200 deductable with Farmers. Cost: $136 per 6 months. I know this has been a hot topic of late. Tim

  8. A cheap easy dessicant is white rice. Throw a handfull of that in the bag holding your parts. When I lived in a very humid area, we used to put rice in our salt shakers so that the salt didn't clump together. Tim
  9. Making great progress....that thing is gonna look mean when it has color!!!
  10. At your service.... http://www.nitrophotos.com/
  11. DAMN DUDE!!!! this has to be one of the most expedited projects ever!!!!!! Well Done!! NOW WHERE ARE THE PICTURES!!
  12. Sounds like fun, but the geographical expanse may be problematic? From my standpoint, I am the kind of person who wants to do everything myself. Just like I wouldn't want anyone working on my wife, I don't want any strange men working on my car
  13. Not too sure on the LPH specs, but how about the MSD unit. I am using it on the LT1. Under $80 from Summit: http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?part=MSD%2D2225
  14. Yup.....throwing it at the mortgage!
  15. Cool!!! See you then!! I'll bring a couple of welding masks! I'll have to eat before I leave.....pizza is not diet friendly......I'll bring a bunch of beer (have stock and don't drink beer anymore!) Here is a map: http://home.earthlink.net/~tp2txh/sitebuildercontent/sitebuilderpictures/betamotorsports.jpgClick on it to enlarge. Tim
  16. Just as a matter of FYI...the two complete axles weighed 37lbs for shipping purposes. Take maybe 1.5 to 2 lbs off for the packaging materials (box and extra cardboard for packaging integrity). Tim
