  1. I managed to download it just fine 5 minutes ago, but none of my players have the correct codecs....I tried updating them, but all I get is the soundtrack!!!! Tim
  2. You will also need the timing cover for the 95....
  3. Jon, I did mean that tongue in cheek, and the phrase was merely for analogy value.....bottom line is: it's not safe....but your point is valid nonetheless...
  4. You can put the return anywhere on the tank. Yes, my return and feed lines are next to each other. BTW....I won't say"I told you so"....lest you doubt me anymore!! Let us know how the dynomometer goes.... Tim
  5. Don't leave open lines anywhere. Fumes are way more explosive than liquid fuel. Someone walking by with a smoke can BBQ your car... Tim
  6. The 93 LT1 is the least desireable year, but way better than TPI. Tim
  7. Fix the problem first!!! You'll be pissing $$$ away running it on the dyno with known issues. IF you really want to test the return line issue, get a 4 foot section of fuel hose and run it from the manifold return line to a 'jerry can' (no stock oem 240Z return line causing restriction) and see if it clears up any. At least then you will know. Tim
  8. It's my understanding that the regulator works by allowing flow to the return line (lowering pressure), or blocking flow to the return line (higher pressure). If the return line is the restriction (high pressure), then there is no way for the regulator to lower the pressure further.....no?
  9. Please feel free to correct me if I'm off base here, but wouldn't the restriction in the return line hamper the regulator. From what I can gather, the small return line is acting as a pressure regulator and is increasing the pressure too much. The fuel pressure regulator would just be unable to decrease pressure because it would need a free-er exit for the fuel. If the fuel can't get back to the tank quickly enough, the regulator will never be able to be functional. Tim
  10. I had one that I bought from Costco, manufactured by Cosmo Products in the Northwest (Oregon, I think). It was 10' wide, by 20' long, by 20'high (in the center...pitched roof design). Very similar in design to the first picture above. It came with metal frame and a roof, 2 long sides and 1 end piece. It was absolutely indispensable for when I was doing all the bodywork on the Z. I could be out of the wind and rain and sun, while still having good ventilation when sanding filler, or spraying primer/paint. I think I paid about $180 for it and it was the best investment for sure. The only downside is that the tarps would get brittle from the elements and eventually became like eggshells and just ripped in the wind. I replaced the sides after about 2 years. If the tarp material will hold up to elements better than mine did (maybe last at least 5 years), then absolutley!! HTH, Tim
  11. James, I have deleted the post in the 6 cyl. forum. Best not to post multiple posts on the same topic. You should also provide more details on what engine (year and model) and fuel delivery system you are using. Tim
  12. My 2 c.......if it cannot be registered for street driving, then it's a race car. If it is 'legal' (various aspects and degrees of that ) for the street, then it's a street car, but so many shades of grey before the black line that sometimes it's hard to say.... Tim
  13. Alex has personal hygiene issues...ha ha ha
  14. OK...OK..Ok.. next time I'll have the engine thumping, instead of the birds chirping Tim
  15. Yes...Thanks for the link Doug!!! My machine is also clean of those dll files!!
  16. Mike, I just wanted to see how it worked. I have my brand new tires and wheels on there now. I will put the old ones back on and smoke em!!

  19. John, Are you going to have the gathering anyway, or is it contingent on Erik's availability?
