  1. Try this to get you started: http://www.jskinnovations.com http://www.modern-motorsports.com/catalog/default.php http://www.fonebooth.com/auto.html
  2. Some complaints have surfaced regarding this thread. Please do not post images that are not appropriate for younger viewers and also please post a warning in the title of any thread which has 'inappropriate' content. There is nothing wrong with these kind of threads, but please be considerate of the morals and sensitivities of ALL of our members. I have editted the picture post and the title of this thread. Thanks for your understanding.
  3. There is nothing mentioned on the SEMA website (usually all over these types of things), or any of the other Auto websites that track legislative initiatives. Maybe a storm in a teacup? Tim
  4. Matt, The best thing for you to do is to use the search function and look in the brakes forum for info. There are dozens of combinations available. Tim
  5. Thanx for the update, Davy....glad to hear he's doing well!! Tim
  6. Got the pump from here: http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?part=MSD%2D2225 The feed line on the Z28 is 3/8, or maybe the metric equivalent. Tim
  7. They are both good. AFAIK it comes down to brand preference. Tim
  8. Guy, Here is what I'm doing: I am using the quick connect fittings (OEM Z28). I then use fuel line with hose clamps over those (they have ribs on them), which are connected to my aluminum fuel line. I'm using 3/8 feed and 5/16 (I think) return with the MSD inline pump, like this one: Tim
  9. Yeah, I have one of those. It works OK, but it is a bit of an art to read the flame color. Works well though. I would think that a decent A/F gauge and wide band O2 would be better. Tim
  10. Pretty hot.....damn man....are you not seeing what we're seeing ....Man....what a piece of @$$, and nice car too!
  11. I went to the parts store and picked up a can of the DupliColor 'anodizing' spray paint. I half heartedly prepped a piece of scrap aluminum and painted it. It comes out really nicely.....looks just like it was anodized!! Good stuff...thanks for the suggestion Ernie!! BTW, I got Purple. The only bad thing is that they don't make it in black Tim
  12. Dry humping a J-Lo Dummy, huh? Hope you didn't spray her Tim
  13. Another case of that mysterious and dangerous disease: Big wallet, No brains syndrome. Tim
  14. Hell....you could paint that thing hot pink and it would still look geat!!
  15. Mat, The headliner wasn't all that difficult, but was very cumbersome installing it myself. With two people, it would be wayyyy easier. Tim
  16. Davy...yes, MOMO Champion Steering wheel. Actually already has some history.....was out of one of my Dad's winning Camaro race cars!! The grey panel that you see is actually attached on top of the black vinyl. It just looked to plain and boring without it. I started with two yards of vinyl and 1/2 yard of grey material. I also made a new headliner out of the same black vinyl as the OEM one was also tan....so it had to go, even though it is in perfect condition. Thanks... Tim
  17. If the engine isn't running, then the tranny should turn in everything but Park. Try disconnecting the driveshaft at the diff and check in both directions. That will rule out the rear of the car. Tim
  18. What brakes do you have? Often times if the brakes are sticking a bit, it becomes hard to move the hubs against their normal rotation. Jack up the car and see if you can rotate the tires by hand in the rearward direction. Tim
  19. Just redid the doorpanels. I think that I will eventually take them to an uphostery shop and have them done really nicely, but this is better than the crappy tan stuff that was on them: Here is the beginning: Then with everything stripped: Then this, with 1/4 inch foam installed: And before putting it on the doors: And installed: And the interior:
  20. I know he sold his Z to Van, but he used to drop by every so often to say hello. After his accident, and move to AZ, he has dropped off the boards....anyone had any communications with him since? I really miss his, and TomahawkZ's (larry) lively sense of humor.
  21. There is no 'drain plug'. To drain the diff, you need to loosen the rear cover and let the oil run out. What you are calling the drain plug, is actually the fill plug. It should be about 1/3 of the way up the rear cover. Fill it until the oil is at the level of the fill plug. Tim
  22. Hey, maybe Pete will buy it....he's good at bringing rust buckets back from the dead Tim
  23. I have absolutely no idea WTH you guys are talking about.....I feel so old and out of touch Tim
  24. Why not have it anodized...the same color as the car. That would look way cool!!
