  1. Here you go: You have to right click on the picture, select properties, copy the url, and then paste it between the tags: Tim
  2. You're thinking in CA terms. Arizona is somewhat stricter in some areas. Tim
  3. What State are you in? Are emissions testing a problem? If not, get a 280. They are more abundant in the JY and for purchase, and many already have the R200 diff. Tim

  5. Search criteria (search from the home page search box): Chassis stiffening Subframe connectors roll cages roll bars and any other variations...... Tim
  6. Close' date=' but no bananna. Bernoulli's Principle. 8) .[/quote'] I stand corrected ....but can I have my banana back anyways? Tim
  7. I am using a 15/16th master with the wilwood adj. valve plumbed into the rear brake line. Car isn't on the road, so I can't tell you how well it works, but I can't see any issues with it. I have the front brakes plumbed directly to the master, using a T-Block to split the lines to the left and right (same type of T-block as is used at the rear where the lines split to go the each side.) Tim
  8. Hopefully the venerable Mr. Coffey will chime in here, but I believe that moving the pivot point forward is a bad idea....changes the camber gain? Tim
  9. Thanks for the correction Spencer!! Yes, just the PCM and ALDL connector (which any OBDI GM car can provide). I got my OBDI ALDL connector from a Cavalier. Tim
  10. Doug, I know that the 240 isolators are much thinner than the 280 ones. Not sure about the 260 though. IF you have access to a set of 240 ones, might be worth comparing them. Tim
  11. Mark, It looks to me that the first picture of the hinge is different from the stock Z hinge in that it doesn't have the 'scissor' type mechanism. Looks like that hinge would just make the hood go up, and not forward. Tim
  12. Don't forget to recheck the torque on those head bolts after the engine has heat cycled a few times, and since others will be driving the truck, double and tripple check everything you've done...check everything is tight etc... Well done.... Tim
  13. Sounds like it's not getting enough fuel at cold start up. Do these things have a cold start valve, or some kind of cold enrichment? Tim
  14. Bill, I would try to get an OBDI harness. It will make tuning much easier. THe wiring of the LT1 PSm is actually quite simple (although it dies look daunting!) You actually only end up having to connect these wires: 4 injector power wires (12V ignition +) 1 PCM pwer wire (12V constant +) Fan Control (the PCM earths the relay) Fuel pump control Everything else just plugs from the PCM to the engine sensors via the OEM LT1 harness. Then the gauge input wires: 1. Oil Pressure (I used a mechanical gauge) 2. Water Temp 3. Oil Temp (I used the oil level sender hole in the oil pan. This was just a nice extra gauge and is unecessary) 4. Volt meter. 5. Tach. 6. Speedo. I used all Aftermarket gauges (Autometer Ultralites). I actually have NONE of the original electronics in the car. I am using the Honda S2000 ingnition switch, toggle switches for lights etc, no heater, defroster, or windshield wipers. I think the only original Datsun part remaining are the tail lights. Let me know if you need any help when you get to the wiring. Tim Tim
  15. Right over here, Terry: http://www.hybridz.org/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=27591&highlight= Tim
  16. Fun day!! Had a good turnout and great conversations!! Thaks for coming guys!! Tim
  17. I've dome the lower one so far: http://home.earthlink.net/imagelib/sitebuilder/misc/show_image.html?linkedwidth=actual&linkpath=http://home.earthlink.net/~tp2txh/sitebuildercontent/sitebuilderpictures/front_low.jpg&target=_self Tim
  18. OK...let's not get into the "no L6 forum" pissing match again. There is still a place for L6 stuff, it's just a different name!! J.C. will this L6 griping ever cease? I find it amazing that the people that moan the loudest about the L6 issue are the ones that still post a lot? Let's get over it and move on!! Tim
  19. Chase, Ya need to read the thread Colour is PPG Amethyst Metallic Violet (1998 SAAB). It's 2 stage with lots of clear for my rookie color sanding hand. The tail light slits will have a couple of pieces of slightly tinted lexan, stuck in from the inside. That will seal it off completely from the elements. What you see in there now is just the masking from the painting. I am yet to install the tail lights, which will be the stockers with the lenses cut off and red and amber bulbs installed. That way I'm not shining through 2 surfaces, and because the lexan is not coloured (red or amber), I have to use coloured bulbs. I actually had to step foot in the 'Ricer' isle in Pep Boys to get the red bulbs. Tim
  20. Sounds like you may have a major vacuum leak and the carbs can only supply enough fuel with the choke on. Tim
  21. Bill, See here. Your are welcome to come. http://www.hybridz.org/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=25899 Tim
