I have had a major problem with the company that I was (emphasis on "was") dealing with. Anyways, after quoting for the decals and transfers, they backed out saying that the transfers would be too difficult to produce. I went to another shop (much more professional right from the onset!). Long story short, I will be providing everyone with vinyl transfers, instead of decals. The look and quality will be more vibrant and will look nicer on the car. The decal will look ok, but not nearly as nice, plus there will be minimum quantity, which will be a LOT of them. The transfers are going to be significantly more expensive than even the previously quoted original transfer price, and thus much more than the original decal quote. Since the problem is on my side, I will eat the difference (the new transfer price is $18, my cost). Just wanted to let everyone who ordered decals know that they are getting a free upgrade, and appologize to those who ordered a transfer instead of a decal as they paid a little more than the 'decal guys'. Also, the timeframe to get them done has obviously changed. For that I also appologize. I thought that by working with a large national chain, the customer service would be better. Wrong!! So, I should have the new transfers by next Friday, if I order them today, which I will. BTW, the shirts and caps will be done by Monday. I will begin shipping the ones that didn't include a sticker. I am currently having my machinist convert my extra LT1 intake. He says that the website has some dodgy info, and not to go by it. The spacer for the dizzy needs a 4.8* angle milled into it to get correct dizzy alignment, and there were some other issues. He does over engineer stuff, but just a heads up to check all the measurements. Tim

Yes, it was ZR8ED, and it was CHEVETTE springs. As I recall the heavy duty ones were best. They lower the car ~1inch and are slightly stiffer. I am going from memory, so do some searching to be sure... Tim

Can't speak to the ZX, but there are common oem seat swaps to the earlier Zs (Miata, fiero, RX7 etc). I would imagine that if they fit the Z, then they should fit the ZX? If none of those fit your liking, then maybe look for vehicles that have seats that you like, then ask the vehicle owner if you can measure them (preferably someone you know ). As for 'racing' seats, the manufacturers usually will post the actual measurements on their websites. Tim

I sold him a bunch of parts just before he went for his Federally sponsored vacation. I offered to refund the money, but he declined, so he has parts waiting for him (gathering dust in my garage), so I would imagine I will hear from him as soon as he is out. Nothing yet, though.....hope he is OK, he was a real light on this board and I personally miss him.
