  1. Have a good look at your hydraulics while you are under there and replace the master/slave if necessary. Also, don't forget the pilot bushing/bearing.
  2. My assumption was that the statement was intended to say: 2 x 45*, or 1 x 90*.......in which case I would chose the 2 x 45* with as long of a straight pup inbetween.
  3. 10k might be a bit optimistic, but if you find the right sucker...I mean buyer , it might be possible. Why not try to sell the drivetrain and use that car for the V8? Since the body and paint is done, most of the real hard work is done, and you know what you have. If you buy something new, you will have to spend time checking for rust etc.... Tim
  4. I have a set of 72 with manifold. They have been sitting for years, so likely in need of a rebuild. PM me if you want them. Tim
  5. He doesn't have a Z, so he can affort the Viagra
  6. Maybe you can throw in an electric turbo charger as inticement
  7. The early F-bodies had main bearing problems with the T56 also. The PO of my Z28 said that the dealership did that T56 upgrade when he had the clutch done (convenience as the 'box was out). Maybe it was the Dealership booking for more work, but I don't think so....
  8. I ran mine up the tunnel to the firewall. It depends on the engine and where the fuel lines need to come up. The LT1 has them at the rear of the intake. You just want to make sure they are away from the exhaust's heat. Tim
  9. By the time you have thinned and added hardener, 1 pint will be more than enough.
  10. Don't forget, the LT1 takes a special thermostat
  11. The guy likely has $100k + in that thing. Garage queen I would think. I would keep it in a climate controlled room too if it were mine.....
  12. Hey now!!! Trying to put that behind me (definitely no pun intended!!)
  13. Damned Imagestation (bad links above). Relinked to another site:
  14. All in all, it was a pretty crappy game. Very uninspiring.....no real 'big plays'.
  15. Sounds like the regulator for the alternator.
  16. Welcome. The turbo converion has been done and documented dozens of times. You will find all the answers you could possibly need by 'paging' through the archives here, via the search function. Good luck with your conversion. It is a fairly straightforward project. Here is a link to the search function, and also read all the 'stickies' at the top of the forum. http://forums.hybridz.org/search.php? Tim
  17. Look at the 'Sticky' in this forum.
  18. Don't forget that you can buy fully assembled MS units now too
  19. There are enough guys here running the L28/L28T with MS...plenty of support. Tim
