  1. If it were in the USA already, I'd buy it right now. But its not that good of a deal to me after you consider the $133.00 shipping cost. I would not go with the $68.00 boat ride here, w/o insurance... " Seller's payment instructions & return policy Shipping to be paid by the bidder. It will be $133.00 to (US/Aus/NZ) for EMS airmail from Japan (3-7 day delivery tracked/insured) or $68 for surface shipping 4-6 weeks uninsured tracked.
  2. That looks great guy... You know, I was cappin on McKinneys trans mount, saying that it would be hanging low and catch onto something, but now that I've seen the early S30 trans mount design, I think it will be OK because it recesses up into the trans tunnel. I thought the two bolts that held the trans mount were flush with the floor pan... doh!! I was being to critical of their mounts. I stand corrected. Your design looks good to. I'd just make sure it won't bend downward with the weight of the trans/motor riding on it.
  3. Sorry if it is... I miss alot that goes thru the non tech section. Oh well, I'm sure there are others like myself who didn't catch it the first time.
  4. Need I say more. Here are a couple more in this thread>> http://racingpensacola.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=10356
  5. The whole state of La. is going to feel it, in one way or another, but I feel sorry for the folks in New Orleans.....
  6. My last turbo motor with TWM ITB's / Tec2 did the same thing when I tried to get the idle any leaner than 13:8. It would choke me out, and burn the hell out of my eyes while sitting at idle, so your results arn't that odd... I just went back to 13:5 and lived with it. My issue had alot to do with the whole intake set up.. (TWM's, etc.)
  7. Dang, I missed the other two pics in the folder. That Vett is a 68 - 72. Those years had the f/r metal bumpers.
  8. If I could see the rear I could tell you the year, but so far its a 73 or earlier. The 74 had both front & rear bumpers that were eurothane (sp?). The 72 had both front & rear metal, and the odd ball 73 (the one I had for 5 yrs) had metal rear with eurothane front.....
  9. I also say hell with em.. I wait till the last 5 sec now after learning how sniping works. They even have a sniper program you can apply to make sure you win... http://www.powersnipe.com/?source=google&kw=ebayauctionsnipe
  10. Yea Jamie, I went ahead and went with a single pick up also. I just happen to have some -12 oringed port plugs, so I just made the driver side pick up into a drain plug... I think one -12 sized oil line with a screened pick up on the end will be good enough for us... agreed?? click em
  11. OK, but what thread are you refering to... ?
  12. Hey, that looks cool... is it yours? any more pics?
  13. Nice job ZGad, I wish I'd have had that option while I was with my last 3Lturbo set up. I went thru many 5 spd Z trannys...
  14. You would be loosing a ton of low speed throtle responce...
  15. Why dosen't McKinney come over here where we tend to hybrid our Z's more than other sites do?? Here he's asking for help developing a trans mount.... http://forums.nicoclub.com/zerothread?id=131614
  16. I like that set up for the L6 motor, but I'm not sure about the "R32" trans they use. Is it a RB20det trans, or the RB25det trans?? If its the RB20, then I don't think its that great of a upgrade.
  17. Nope, wasn't me... I was just shocked it went for such a low price. Wish it was down here, I'd have given more than that for it. Imagine a RB in that little dude....
  18. I would try it, but thats without laying my own eyes on it. Go with your gutt feeling.......
  19. I also say spray both sides with a silver paint, then while tacky, put it on and clamp her down..... I say to spray it with the silver paint cause I read that in the old "how to modifiy" book, and tried it and it worked great. Even when new with that black coating on the new HKS gasket, I wasn't comfortable with just that as a sealer.... You use your own judgement on that part, but I would use that gasket with no worries Forest. good luck joel
  20. Or you can use these isolators >> http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=103170
