  1. Wow... that does sound apealing. All custom manifolds would be nice with ITB's. I Think I have a pic saved on my computer of a N/A RB26, I'll have to search for it...
  2. Now thats the specs I've seen posted time and again. I'm just disputing the R230 coming with a clsd ....
  3. Humm aux, are you certin on that info? I didn't know the 300zxt had a clsd R230 .... Just trying to get the info posted correct for us all...
  4. I just bought this to add to the hundreds of items waiting on me to do something with.... I have a bad ebay addiction... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=8005978880&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1
  5. Very impressive Jamie, glad I'm first on your list for a bolt in copy...
  6. Ahh... then that would be the same as I have now...
  7. Hi Matt, please tell me what the "fr 33 " box is? thanks joel
  8. read this on another site.... Cam Cover 1/2 circle rubber seals try PN 1105158S00. Thoes are the ones for the rb26 and I think they are the same as the rb20s. This is a US PN.
  9. Man that is one sobering email... Just goes to show what our guys are made of... You and your son are in my prayers !!
  10. Hey J. Taylor, glad you went to look at them as your just as close as I am right now due to Rita hitting my home town and running me down here to the fine Mobile area... I just caught this thread because I'm at the mercy of my aunt's computer, but I surely would have took a look at the G-nose at least. I wish I wasn't sick right now or I would have loved to drop by your house since being down here to check out your RB Z. Maybe next time huh?? Hope everybodys doing well. I'm finally heading back to Lake Charles in the a.m. (Sun.) Can't say its been fun though.... but at least I have something to return to... Talk to ya'll later... joel
  11. Well guys, thanks for the kind words of concern. I'm in Mobile Ala. right now at my aunts house since the 26th. We rode out the hurricane in Lake Charles, in a bunker at a lcal hospital, then went home two days after it passed, to find my cars held up fine, but the house has some damage, and the property is unbelivable.... Anyway, long story short.. I'm fine and will stay out here in Ala. for a couple weeks till they let us back into Lake Charles. I have limited access to this computer, so I'll check in when I can. Thanks again guys !! joel
  12. Well, the path has changed abit for the worst in my area. Its moved closer to us and will be close to a direct hit... All I could do was put my car under a heavy duty car port attached to the house. I don't feel to good about that at all. There are huge pine trees all around our house, and that worries the hell out of me. I hope my next post isn't to try and sell whats left of my Z. We will go to a shelter that was offered to us at the local GTE building, where most of the GTE employes will be going that stayed to ride it out. I feel my family (3 elderly parents) and myself will make it thru this, but my car, thats the big don't know for me.... wish us luck, and I'll post again soon as the power is back up and running (they are telling us 99.9% the power will go off). Later guys, be safe if your in the path!! joel
  13. Larry, looks nice. Did you snap any pics of your mount/brace as you were building it, and before you installed it? I'm trying to get a mental pic of how all that works out.... thanks - joel
  14. Those that use fail-pro head gaskets with no problem are just lucky IMHO. They are a inferior product. Check the mating surfaces, then buy a Nissan head gasket...
  15. I'm getting a bit worried for my Z, its only in a alum car port. I live right in the bottom left portion of "the boot" when you look at the shape of Louisiana. We are in the projected path this time.... The way it looks now is even if we miss a direct hit, we will catch the NE side of that bitsh, which is the worst area of a hurricane... All I can say is STAY AWAY FROM ME IN LAKE CHARLES, LA.!!!! please.....
  16. yea but try paying to have that work done on that head and see what it will cost. There is nothing wrong with using that head on any motor you choose. I had that same set up on my 3L stroker turbo motor and it did just fine. Dave Rebello built it for my turbo project, and that was his pick of heads at the time... and it cost me twice as much as iskone wants for his.
  17. Man that sure stinks don't it.... I think all theifs should have a diget removed every time they are caught swiping something. After all the fingers, move on up to the arms... I hate a theif!! I think you will be glad you chose to go thru that motor first. You can't go wrong swapping to forgies, and a re fresh on the bottom end... and that R33 crank will give you big peice of mind... j.
  18. Street boost is the psi and tune chosen to use when driven on the street. The 59psi used for track/dyno would require a different tune, ie; not street boost... (Thats my understanding of his street boost term).
  19. DAMM !!!! how in the heck does he stop that sucker with no shute?? Looks to be a very smooth ride down the 1320, judging by his steering wheel corrections during the pass.... Very nice

    VW Headlight

I like it Matt. Do the buckets fit back on without any drama? Any way to get the headlight info from you sometime?thanksjoel
  21. Whats even more funny, is this sellers previous Ebay users name...
  22. Great news Mike.... I can't wait to feel that same feeling. There is nothing like it when you hear the motor you worked so hard on fire up for the first time. Again, great job!! j.
  23. Thats good to hear !! Let him know lots of members had him on their prayer list....
