  2. Was it a long nose R200 VLSD? if not, you'll have fun addapting that to your Z. Its been done, but it takes some work, and more $$ than the correct long nose... welcome, and thanks for the info.
  3. I have a couple of these CF hood vents coming from John Washington, so yes.... I may "cut the hood " Matt.. click on it:
  4. Did you see this?? Items from eBay stores may not be in stock and may need to be special ordered from the manufacture. please allow up to 8 weeks for delivery.
  5. Thanks bro., I needed a good laugh today.... and that did it...
  6. I saw a pic of one that had been removed w/o cutting it out, and wanted to hear from anybody that has done this. I guess its spot welded in, but I need to know how to access the welds. I don't see them from looking at it from the top side (inside the car). Can anybody help me out with this please??? thanks - joel
  7. Look here http://offer.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?BidderBlockLogin
  8. HAHAHA... I don't have the heart to break the news to this guy, do you? Check out his funny auction http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/GREAT-79-83-1979-1983-NISSAN-280ZX-DIFFERENTIAL-1-9_W0QQitemZ7989809736QQcategoryZ33731QQtcZphotoQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
  9. Hey guy, just saw this older thread, and wondering how shes coming along? You must have come along a ways since a year gone by..... show us please... thanks - joel
  10. I searched trying to find our thread in the RB section dealing with the isolators we were using already, but had no luck. So, this is what I have to add.... My hood ended up barely touching my compressor housings on one turbo, so I was left with the issue of having to lower the motor a tid bit. I went to searching for new, shorter isolators, and found these; I bought them at Parts America, with the company name on them Pioneer Inc. part# 2265. Also interchanges with # M2265 and 270-2265. I find them to be 1/4 to 3/8 shorter, which will solve my problem. But the biggest advantage to getting these isolators over the other ones I used, and that most everyone else has, is that these are a wopping**$3.97 ea.** vrs the **$76.00 ea.** I paid for the other set. *** Big difference huh? $3.97 ea. vrs $76.00 ea. Not a hard choice to make.... **** Here are the comparrison pics: click on thunbnails
  11. I'm watching this Rick. As you know, I tend to hord those R230's and was planing on using one of them sooner or later, I know its a big chunk of change, but have you looked into a CLSD to put in that bad boy?? Anyway, the pump is a very good idea you have there, and I belive it will make the VLSD have a long life... good luck, and keep the info flowing........... joel
  12. Some low life bid his $6,500 then quickly retracted it, just to test the reserve I'm sure... oh, and the 29 bid retracts in the last 6 mo. gave it away gdill1974...
  13. Lookng good bro. Watch those hose clamps blowin off though...
  14. I saw this info and wanted to add to this. Its for the RB25 block, but I think the 26 should be the same. If not, please let it be known... ( cut & pasted as I read it) RB25 freeze plug part# maybe 26 also? "which plugs are you looking for? the ones in the block are 0091331301a. it's a usdm part.. nissan should be able to get them quick."
  15. Dohh.... hehe, all I saw was that bada$$ TTV8 the first look.
  16. Its one of the many scams showing up there lately. I have that same pic on my hard drive from a auction last year for that same motor.
  17. I thought it strange how he had to have his front wheels turned way to the left while doing his burn out. The car obviously pulls real hard to one side on launch, plus it tends to want to jump strait up in the air.....
  18. Good thought, but sorry I can't answer your question. I hope someone will step up with ideas...
  19. I just oedered 2 Walbro 255lph pumps to plumb off the two -8 fittings on the cell sump. I will Y them into a -10 line to my fuel rail fittings. I hope this will provide enough fuel...
  20. Wonder if it could be uploaded to the vid section here @ HybridZ ??
  21. Trust me, if you watch http://www.zcar.com and http://www.ebaymotors.com you will see one sooner than later. Weekly may not be the right word, but they are fairly common on those two sites. And yes, expect to pay $200 - $300 for one. To me, thats a cheap price for a performance part, especially a stroker crank..
