  1. the 75 will fit right in, but I belive the straps are different.
  2. Shame on you... I ran one of those on my last set up. Its definitly a nice I/C
  3. woops, I should've looked at the link before my comment. It sure has some serious flow disruptions inside that thing, with all that weld inside
  4. Looks like somone wacked a RB25 Greddy plenum to make it fit the L6. Sweet for sure...
  5. I'll try to put up a pic that shows the horn brackets had to be removed.
  6. Sean, did you ever open up my PM I sent you? joel
  7. Hey' date=' I have to make up for my [i']short[/i]comings some how... When you go thru life with the most important part of your package being to small, one trys to over compensate...
  8. In that pic, it was just sitting on the valance. It will drop down another 1.5", and move rearward qnother 3 to 4". James tril fit it on his Z, so I'm confident he made them work with the hood....
  9. I just received it today and set it in the hole for a trial fit.... looks impressive huh? I think its going to do its job just fine...
  10. I also run the two peice 5 lug (5 on 4.5) adaptors on my turbo Z. I've put them thru some pretty hard launches (not track use though). I have broke two seperate CV shafts, but the adaptors have held up fine....
  11. Very nice wheels there bud! Those ought to have a real nice stance to them on your Z32
  12. Looks to me like their was indeed a ignitor at one time on the center cover (4 screws) at the rear ? Is that whats called a "Red Top" RB20 ??
  13. Look on the tailshaft housing. where the rear seal is. If it has 1 slotted tab its a 82-83 5spd, if it has two tabs, it a early 5 spd. Thats one of the ways to tell the early 5spd from the late.
  14. As far as I know they will fit exactly the same. The only difference I know of will be the intake and exhaust arrangment. Maybe Stony will chime in to back me up on this....
  15. I'm having some flanges made as we speak. James Thagard http://www.speedshopthagard.com hooked me up with a guy, and I sent him in a Tomei metal exhaust gasket I just bought from Japan. Mine will be two 3 bank flanges, but I'm sure he can make it all in one peice. This was the contact email James sent me..... Please send your gaskets to the following address. The cost on the flange will be in the $75 range from 3/8" mild steel. Davesport, L.L.C. 43019 SE. 174th St. North Bend, WA 98045 http://www.davesport.com/cgi-bin/davesport/
  16. The Felpro is a paper gasket. The Nissan is grafite coated fiber.... at leaset that what it looks to be... 8)
  17. I SECOND THAT !! I have gone thru many a aftermarket gasket until I went with the OEM turbo man/ehx gasket. Give Courtesy Nissan a ring or email, the'll have one at your doorstep asap... and at a decent price too.... 8)
  18. Even the 2nd gen. ones are a good value @ $497. I'd kinda wonder about using the 1st gen. lights.... Thanks for the link, thats my next purchase....
  19. I'll give you the and a big when you can use the full potential of what that 4.5" core can support. Ofcourse this doesn't mean I'll ever get close to using the 3.5" core to it's full potential, but I'll give it hell. I'm working on it... you liked that huh...?
  20. I had one on the motor I just sold, and it was a 240mm 13lbs alum Findanza flywheel. They ought to know what they are talking about, thats what they sell. They sell 13 lbs 225mm, and 240mm, not 241mm 10 lbs flywheels, FYI....
