  14. I would give Dave a ring and ask him why he chooses the E88 for his turbo builds. When I was looking for a reputable L6 builder, Rebello's name kept showing up in all my searchs, so I gave him a call. I don't remember what all the reasons were for his opinions on using the E88 for a stroker turbo motor, so thats why you should get ahold of him. He's a very nice person to speak with, and would answer this question for you I'm sure. I'm not picking one head over another, saying either is better, its just he recomended the E88, with his turbo port, and larger valves to me, and thats the choice I made. I use the 1mm HKS gasket, and get a 8.5 to 1 comp ratio, which gives great off boost throtle responce on 93 oct gas..... Try this email address, its the last one I had for Rebello; DReb993524@aol.com
  15. if your scared, raise your hand.... do it, do it..... don't wait.....
  16. See if you can get ahold of this guy and ask him. I bought a set of 6 for my RB26 for $7xx and change, when everyone else was in the thousand and change price range... He may be able to lead you to a source... http://cgi6.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewSellersOtherItems&since=-1&sort=3&rows=25&userid=gearheadparts
  17. I just put alum pipe plugs in them. I would think they could still be used as ment to.... I noticed big time the difference when James did the mod that moved the injs closer to the intake valves (made a custom grafted oem/TWM intake manifold). Then I just tapped and pluged the holes on the TWMs.
  18. OK, refresh my memory.... these are to be used with what to mate up to a stock 70-78 Z Car stub axle companion flange/? I saw the Q45 part in the heading, but please fill in the rest for me/us.... They look very nice. thank you joel
  19. I've had problems in the past also with my metal head gasket/copper coat leaking. I was told by a mechanic once that copper coat isn't good to use where fluids will be present. So when I pulled mine apart after the leak, I cleaned it up with laquer thinner, then sprayed it with silver paint, let it tack, then sprayed it again and put it all together. No more leaks since using that method, and I'm on my third motor with no leaks. I'm not saying copper coat isn't any good, just saying I will never use it again, except on the exhaust side....
  20. I thought I read where the 74 Z was in fact now exempt in Calif. ?? True/False??
