  1. Will the twin cam head bolt to the RB30 block? I'm just asking, cause I allways see people mention using the single cam head for some reason....
  2. I have the 88se installed in my 260 right now with the custom shaft build up a per James Thagard, but I also have a complete spare 88se diff w/o the shafts... Can you provide the info on where to get the new 88se shafts? It's a shame only the inboard portion is needed for the custom shaft build, so having to buy the whole new shafts is a waste...
  3. YES...... STAY AWAY FROM STEVE NELSON @ BOTTOM FEEDER PERFORMANCE (woops, I guess I mispelled their name...)
  4. Boy, now don't that just muck things up.... all these guys that thought there diffs were R230's.... thats depressing
  5. -6 is the smallest you'd ever want to start with for a suply line on a turbo app. I can't think of any high pressure pump that could'nt handle a -6 line....
  6. One word of advise.... stay the hell away from that jerk, Steve Nelson, over at TOP END PERF!! If you do a search, you'll find that this guy is your worst nightmare....... he'll take lots of your money, and you'll get very little for it. This is not from hearsay either, but from my personal experince, and I know of three good friends that have been taken to the cleaners by TOP END PERF.
  7. Please let me know if you have a pair of 70-73 240z stub axles that are in perfect working condition for sale. Please, no damaged companion flange area, or damaged threaded area... Please send me a private message, or post here. thank you joel
  8. BTW, those little white fastners holding her top end together, is at its limits....
  9. What ya wanna bet she, I mean it, has #8 tatto'd on her forehead.... sorry...... I'm really not that cold....
  10. Thanks for all the help I got from the site admins, but I ended up swaping out my router, and now can access site anytime as desired...
  11. without opening the link, and going by your subject header.... GREAT!! Good news as far as I'm concerned!! Now I'll open the link....
  12. I posted a couple pics of the billet RB mounts in the album section. http://hybridz.org/photopost/showgallery.php?cat=500&ppuser=1090
  13. ??? What are we talking about here? His RB26 install - follow the link... Your assumptions should be held off until you've seen the finished product. You loose less money that way...
  14. I drove down to James house in Tallahassee this past Sat. to drop him my Z so he can start on my stainless manifolds, and I got a ride in his 240z with this motor he's selling. I have to be honest, it is so impressive, that I can't imagine being able to buy that kind of speed anywhere for the price he's willing to take for that monster twin turbo L-6 set up. The power comes on so fast and so hard, it's hard to belive that its only a strait 6 under the hood!! That motor set up would easily smoke my stroker turbo motor set up I just sold for $5,200. I didn't have what James has in this set up, and I got more than his starting price. Anyone looking to upgrade to a turbo L-6 for their Z, and has the money to spend, would be a fool not to consider what you get for the price spent. The motor kicks some serious a$$.... belive this...
  15. BTW, I was being sarcastic.... It would be a hard choice if I were looking to buy a motor... good luck to both sellers
  16. just FINALLY solved it.... I had to unhook my modem router to my other home PC. Not sure if I can re hook it back up to use both computers again. BTW, if you ever get in a bind, computer wise, go here, these guys are very helpfull>>>http://forums.techguy.org/index.php?
  17. Yes, forget about cutting temp glass. I do glass work now (since 1975, wow I'm old... ) and its next to impossible. As said above, its possible (although I'd have to see it to belive it) for it to be water jet cut, but I'm not sure... I know it can be slowly sanded to remove size from it, but I have never known of anyone "cut" it with a glass cutter, without it exploding...
  18. I belive John is using the billet alum mounts as I am. There is a Z guy in Canada that sells them. Very nice mounts indeed....
  19. buy a set for the "A" serirs motors. They have a metal jacket around them, which will not pop off (even when you try to remove them) Brian, I have one at my house still in the Nissan bag, so you can get the part# from it.
