  1. That looks wicked man..... what kind are those??
  2. Thats kool, and the Z car is even carring extra body in it...What the heck is that third vechicle? looks like a old fairlane....
  3. I tend to prefer the 260 over the 240 because its easier to find one, and they are some what cheaper to buy. Also if you get the "early" 260, like MINE, it is almost the exact same car as the 73 240z, with the exceptions of a few details. The main thing I prefer in the 260 over the 240, is the factory installed air con, and the intermitting wipers, and I like the dash much better also. These are just my reasons, so no need for anyone to pick a fight over my preferences ... TURBO MOTOR FOR SALE>click<
  4. HaHa.... just get your motor running, that should dodo it.... CLICK HERE FOR AUCTION

  6. Looks like TomoHawk has the best plan of attack. I hope he follows thru with his thoughts on solving this issue... it sure will make me smile...
  7. I left it up to Dave Rebello at the time, and that was his choice on which head was best for my build...
  8. EDIT: I just placed this motor up for bid. Try your luck, you may win it CLICK HERE THANK YOU Hi guys, I've been building another motor (killer RB26dett) to replace the already killer stroker L6 I now have in my early 260z. There is nothin wrong with this stroker L6 I'm going to be selling, it's just I have to have something faster and different.
  9. Do yourselfs a big favor and just get the Nissan "A" series valve stem seals, and be done with it.... They are steel shoulder'd, so no poping off the guides. They are shorter, so no retainer interfernce. I've been using them for quite awhile now (I guess around 20,000 mi so far on this motor), and I don't smoke at idle.
  10. Looks like the easiest and quickest way to ID the R230 is look for the rear cover to have three bolts across the top of it vs two as in the R200.
  11. Thats the size core I just bought (24 x 12). I have to try and duplicate your shape on the end tanks since they look killer.... thanks joel
  12. Cyrus, can you please let me know what the dimentions of your I/C core only is ?? I'm going to be having James Thagard build me up some end tanks for the Garret core I just bought from him. Also if you really wanted to be a pal, I'd love the dems on the end tanks too.... If not, just the core will do, so I can see what size fits in their so nice, like you did... BTW, that looks so badass.... thank you joel
  13. It looks to be a nice clean motor set. Its the generic spec info with no real description that red flags me on this one, other than he just joined Ebay that day... I would surely want to speak to the seller to "feel" him out before I placed a bid on that one. If indeed legit, it is a very good deal, if you can get it for $2,000 or less...
  14. That musta been a nightmare to tune, with those carbs and no stand-alone....
  15. So.... for everthing shown in this pic (minus the strut, hub), what would the cost be for these parts to do the front brakes on a 280z??
  16. Hi Rick, sorry to hear that about your new monster motor... I went thru the same senerio with one of my motors using Total Seal gappless. I ended up swapping them out with a set my local machinist got for me, made by Sealed Power, I belive was the name.
  17. Here is another 350z 6 spd for sale >>>> http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=33733&item=7909048396&rd=1
