  1. Well... did anyone from here end up buying that mystery diff??
  2. The ports are shaped different, and the bolt spacing/location don't match up... It would be pretty hard to make one work on the other IMHO...
  3. Their good enough to use in the Skyline RB25det'd applications... (same gearset, different case) and lots of folks putting serious HP thru them Matter of fact, how many guys with high mod Z32TT's using the stock trans, have broke them? I haven't heard of any... so in short, from what I know of them, they are pretty stout. So much so, that I bought one to put behind my RB26dett that will be putting out some pretty nasty power soon...
  4. Did you do as I suggested and email TimO ?? I talked to him yesterday, and he said he'd be glad to help you out with some numbers...
  5. Why don't you just put it right back on that pallet, and shoot it over here to me.... I'll pay you for the trouble...
  6. Sounds like you may have the distribitor in wrong, and the timing off....
  7. Yea, I feel the same way. I emailed him for info and he will not answer back. I do have the correct shafts if it is a 88SE, but I just don't like trying my luck with a person that won't respond to a legit question, like a simple "IS THIS A CLUTCH OR VLSD" ? I doubt he even knows after looking at his feedback. I bid on it, but not no more... even if the shafts are no prob for me....
  8. if your refering to the pinion flange (the part thr driveshaft bolts to on the diff) all you need to do is remove the one off your regular R200 open diff, and install it on your Z31 LSD....
  9. Not to shabby of a deal there.... looks to be a nice winter car for Co.
  10. I will comment on both since I've had both... The flywheel is a 10lb HKS modular steel piece, or I've seen it called a Az. Zcar flywheel. It is definitly a good lightweight flywheel.... The clutch is another story... I've had bad luck with Centerforce clutches. I had a DuelFriction one that did nothing but slip under boost, but in fairness, I may have been overpowering the thing (because I belive their crap for clutches) It may work just fine for your set up, so that may not have been a bad deal on your part. You will soon find that just because somebody owns a repair shop, that dosen't mean they know squat about certian parts...
  11. anybody thought about tackling this...?? We have the motor part solved, its just how to wire it....
  12. I think I may have one... how do I know its a "Maxima" head vrs just a N47?
  13. If and when I buy a external W/G again, it will be another HKS GT 60mm like I had on my last set up. I know its over kill for some, but hey, once you have it, you can upgrade your set up again and again and you won't have to upgrade the W/G... Plus it helps when you want to run a smaller turbine A/R... 8)
  14. NOW IF THAT DON'T END ALL THESE "WHERE TO GET TURBO HEADERS" THREADS, I DON'T KNOW WHAT WILL....
  15. so what ever happened to our donated status?? I know of it still being displayed on a members name, but not others...
  16. I also had a spare P90a with solids that I sold. I think during the production change, they just used up what ever casting was on hand, not worrying about the "a" being on it.
  17. WOW guys, you came thru for me... thanks a bunch!! This will give me a place to start putting the pieces together...
  18. can anyone help me out with where to obtain some -19, -20 or larger male alum fittings so I can have them welded onto my alum radiator ?? I want to use AN line/fittings to connect my upper and lower water hoses. They make -19 and -20 reuseable female hose ends, because I have a couple, its just that I can't find the male nipple anywhere to have welded onto the radiator... ANYONE ?? thanks j.
  19. edit: moved my question to Misc Tech forum thanks j.
  20. WOW.... I love this pic... http://home.iprimus.com.au/easton/wallpapers/wallpaper.jpg
  21. Its a 6 into 1. I will answer that part for him but let him respond to the source.... I was going to go that route, but went with the twin set up, mainly for low speed responce, and mostly for the WOW factor...
