  1. **** DON'T USE IT ****** is all I'll say..... To bad the search function is not working, you'd see why.... I'll try and find you a thread or two... there are many...
  2. Hopefully for your sake TimZ will chime in on this one. He has the solution to your problem.
  3. Well, its a done deal... So far this is the plan> rebuild motor using yo2001's JE pistons; James, 240turbo, is going to build me a custom stainless TT header, a custom plenum without the oem ITB's, but with velosity stacks in the runners; Stony's HKS twin plate racing clutch with lite weight flywheel, and his RB25det 5spd trans; I will use my TEC2 programable ecu, a pair of GT25R's, so this will be a motor to be reconed with... ** I'm wondering... does anyone know if its possible to have oem cams reground?? I'd like to step up on the cam profole while I'm into the motor, but I'm not ready to spend the money they want for new cams... ** thanks for the input guys.... I'm all ears...
  4. I would give my left, I mean both *uts for this car... Lots more here.. http://www.speedoptions.com/features/cars.php?carID=80
  5. The last thing you want to do on this set up in my opinion, is go 89mm or larger. I went thru two F54 blocks before I got it right. The first stroker motor I built I used a set of forged pistons I traded for a set of tripple Mikunni's, that were 90mm. That first motor lasted 1,200 mi until I had anti freeze in the oil. I pulled it apart to find a cracked cyl bore. I thoufgt it was a fluke, so I had a second block done up the same way and that motor lasted 750 mi. I pulled it all down again and started looking for the reason to find, I could put a pair of channel locks on two different cyl walls and barely squeeze, and they both crushed. They were as thin as a peice of paper. I belive if you bore a L6 block any bigger than 88.5mm, your asking for big trouble... on a turbo set up that is... I now have 88mm forged pistons, and not one problem with cyl wall flex, or cracking...
  6. Wow.... thats the first time I've heard of that before. I'd like to see pics of that head. Well as far as switching parts around, I have a early E88 that has the bigger valves installed, and I cut the notches for injectors in it. I have it installed onto my F54 block with forged 88mm dished pistons with no issues, but this is for a turbo set up at 8:5 to 1. If you used flat tops, I'm not sure what that would give you comp wise, sorry, maybe someone else can fill in that part of the question... joel
  7. I see this term used often, but haven't the slightest idea what it means.... please explain... My 17's sometimes scrape on large bumps, but not by much, and this may solve my problem if I knew what/how to "roll" the rear fenders. thank you joel
  8. I got my RB26 in yesterday... I went ahead and only had them send me the motor set instead of a half of car. I had no way of dealing with a half cut, so I just had him ship the complete motor/trans and I also got other stuff I don't need, I/C, radiator/shroud, and AWD trans. Everything looks to be ok, but I was planing to go thru this motor anyways, no matter how good it looked. I'm buying a set of JE pistons from Yo2001, and it looks like I'll be buying Stony's RB25det trans/HKS clutch, so its all coming together....
  9. The only interfernce problem I had was one rod bolt hitting the thin sheetmetal splash guard covering the wire mesh inside the block where the breather tube enters the block. All I did was concave it a bit, and it cleared it fine.
  10. If you really want to see sumthin yummy on this site, click *** HERE *** This is under "Babes". Scroll down till you see "Action Girls" (had to edit post, I had the name wrong) It's a video of some fine ladys....
  11. Yea!!!.... She's my favorite also. makes my tounge hard...
  12. HaHaHa, you know, if those sob's wouldn't go into their long drawn out bs line, they may make a scam now and then... Why not just say "Hi, I like what your selling.... I'll send you the money, bla bla bla..... It might work once and a while that way...
  13. How's the cond. of the trans? ie; syncros (sp) bearings? If it is in good cond. shot me a PM to discuss a sale please. thanks joel
  14. Why do you keep posting this? your messing with my odds....
  15. A few guys are asking me if I selling my current set up right now, all I know is I want to be up and running before I even think about that. I'll get ahold of the guys that have asked me already once I decide to start parting out the L6 set up. I may just have James make me a single turbo manifold, after I beg him into it... so the T61 will probably be used on the new set up. The Tec2 also....
  16. another silly question but, do these guys make adaptors for any config you may need, I mean, will that make one up as a one of? or do they only stick to the common swaps? I ask because I'm intrested in a T56/RB nissan... can you provide a link please... thanks joel
  17. I've ran both, clutch pack, and now 88se VLSD, and I have to say I like the VLSD way better. It's quiot (sp) and smooth. And so far I haven't noticed any slippage at all under any conditions....
  18. Well.... things turned to sh*t last night....... for the best though.... I got a call from the guy (TURBO) who was selling this motor on this site, late last night telling me he decided to sell it to a local guy, so he wouldn't have to drive it halfway from Austin to me, (which would have been Houston). We had discussed this for two days and it was ok to him untill the last second, hence the call late last night. I was to meet him this a.m. ..... Now for the GOOD news... he did feel bad (I guess what I told about how that wasn't right helped ) and hooked me up with a importer he worked for, and now for $3,000, I have a complete RB26dett front clip on the way to me..... (thank you Tri) Everything is included (motor/awd trans (boo), uncut harness, afms, ecu, I/C and what ever else is normally on it. With the prior motor deal, I would have only got the complete motor/harness (no ecu or trans) and a headgasket/new bearings/rodbolts...for $3,500... so I'm so jazzed at this turn of events... As for my current set up.... I dunno? everyone knows you can't sell this stuff for much, so I will wait untill I'm up and running with the RB, and who knows, I may just peice it out... (more money that way I think) thanks guys... joel
  19. I'm swaping out my stroker L6 for a RB26 but have a request, does anyone have a good conection on a RB25det 5spd? Can anyone direct me to a good source for these? thanks guys joel
  20. Can you belive this..... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&category=33731&item=2456234098&sspagename=STRK%3AMEBWA%3AIT god, I have two of those that I got for $150 ea. maybe I should put them on ebay... for $700 ea...
  21. I think you confusing the RB25de trans with the RB25det trans. There is a difference, one is cheap and the other not cheap....
  22. Their is a RB25det with 280hp. It's the one I was going to get from AWKINZ
