  1. Here ya go... this is for you and anyone else who might think this is a good idea. BTW, I've had mine on for aprox 5 yrs. and can't feel any wear. So this mod must help to say the least.
  2. Hi guyz... are these engines that differnt? >> http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2443420143&category=33615 << I mean, would it be a mistake to try and make this fit/work into my early 260, which already has a ton of money spent on the stroker build up. I could do like zgad did and sell off my turbo header and all the other Z motor goodies to help offset the cost, but would this motor be a better platform to build upon to reach bigger hp #'s. I already have a Tec2, so the ecu is not important. Sorry to hijack this thread, but I thought it was inline with the subject Thanks for any advice from experince... joel
  3. Or.... you can do what I did on my front adj ones. Drill and tap for a grease zerk fitting on the round section of the control arm. Just make sure you aim the zerk where you can get to them after everthing is all back together. I can grease mine any time I feel they may need it... Let me know if you need a pic and I'll take one tomorrow. joel
  4. Hows about the part # off that bad azz dude. thankz joel
  5. Piston size isn't the only way to get that 3.x L engine. Crank throw/rod length, piston pin height all can make for a stroker The last thing you want to do is get it by only boaring the hole out to the max, or you'll end up learning the hard way as I did with tin foil thin cyl. walls that I could push thru them with a pair of channel lock pliers. I cracked two cyl walls on two seperate F54 blocks, trying to build the "3.1 L stroker, because the cyl walls ended up being to thin after the bore job. I will no longer go bigger than 88mm - 88.5mm, just so I'm sure that will not happen to me again. Now if you have access to a sonic machine, to assure the factory bore casting is perfectly centered in the block, you may get away with more than I did. Mine were shifted to one side more than the other on most of my bores... This was my hard learned experince...
  6. So' date=' I supose, since I don't know, that the 810 station wagon is a Maxima as you've described above ?? I just don't remember seeing the Maxama badge anywhere on the car... [img']http://www.superkaos.com/phpbb/images/smiles/o.gif[/img]
  7. Would anyone by any chance know which 5 spd came on this 810 Datsun. It looks just like any other Datsun 5 spd, as it was bolted to the L24 maxima engine. I'm just wondering about what the gearing might be, as I've never seen this trans included in any write ups. thanks for any info./links that will help me know what the gears are inside. joel
  8. TimZ uses a moded N42 head, and I use a Rebello turbo preped E88. We do both use the Tec2 EMS though.....
  9. Nice, but it seemed to be in slow motion.... < spelling edit >
  10. Alsil... that is one clean little yellow Mustang 11 though. That person should buy a Z and put all that effort into it ....
  11. I found this site intresting >> http://www.chargedperformance.com/aquamist_systems.htm OR THIS ONE > http://www.turboice.net/forum/
  12. I supose I may have used the wrong title on this post. To each his own... I guess I should have said he's got to be joking, cause I wouldn't pay half that for it. But like I said, if its worth that to someone.... go for it... Don't mean to hurt anyones feelings peace>joel
  13. These guys puzzle me... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2443393069&category=33731
  14. Stony, I see that you had aready seen/joined the yahoo LM-1 discussion board.... If I can answer anything for you , please don't hesitate to PM me joel
  15. If you would have stated what your question was after, ie: a buying price, or a seller price, you may not have been dissapointed in the responces you received. I did not know if you were wanting to know what I would pay for it, or what you should try and get for it. Also, what "scoop" are you refering to??
  16. Are you try to get a price for selling or buying one?? If your selling it, please PM me. thanks joel
  17. I bought one in sept. and have it hooked up to my Tec2, controlling the fuel/ego. There are several forums that have long positive reveiws going on it. One of these are a yahoo forum set up by the man himself who desighned/sells them >> http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/InnovateLM1/ OR >>http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/InnovateLM1/messages/ HERE IS A COUPLE MORE >>http://www.rx7club.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=227021&perpage=25&pagenumber=5 >>> http://www.innovatemotorsports.com/lm1.php
  18. I have a 240mm Alum flywheel that is made for the zxt. They are found easily and yes I like it. If you want quick spool up, thats one way to address it.. I got mine from Malvern Racing. It's made by Fandenza (hope I speeled it correct)
  19. Yeah, it is a little odd. I also noticed how many members who join just to post a "for sale" add, then they fade away..
  20. I think the guy should be kicked in the nuts on a daily bases, for the rest of his misrable life... or even better.... He will most likely get 2 yrs in the joint and a little probation. Or worst, just probation...
  21. Sounds like a nice set up. Is there any way to see some pics of this install ???? Thanks joel
  22. Very good posts above. I'd like to add that I have been using the 4 to 5 lug adaptors/spacers for 5 yrs now on my turbod Z, which has plenty of tourqe, and have not had a single problem. It's very important to keep an eye on all parts related to using them though... joel s
  23. You've taken notice also David? Look at some of the recent posts in the "show your wheels" thread. I don't think these guys even read the stickys (rules) when they join. They just join up and jump right in and start posting....
