  1. Yea, I think that R34 RB25det with 280hp (same as the 26) is a sweet setup, although, I'm trying to convince myself to go ahead a get the RB26. $5,600 huh?? I was given a $5,900 quote....
  2. After you buy all the other parts needed, let us know how much more it cost you I didn't know they made a RB26 trans that isn't AWD
  3. Can one of you guys supply me with the part numbers needed to order these PLEASE.. or atleast the thread pitch/count.... I'd like to give them a shot. thank you very much joel
  4. I use tolulene every fill up. I put 2.5 gal tolulene to each tank of gas. I've been faithful with this for two years now with no side affects. On my 3L 8.5 comp ratio T61 motor, I run 18-21 lbs aLL DAY LONG WITH NO PING AT 26 deg advance.... I like it...
  5. That looks great James. All that hard work will finally be put to the pavement...
  6. I thought they were lighter than they are. I got on a scale with them, and without the sliders, they weigh 30lbs. I haven't taken my oem seats out and weighed them yet, but I'll bet there close. Z Tard, Forrest, did you guys use the supplied rails, or did you attach them to the oem sliders?
  7. It sure makes the packaging easy, if you don't plan on using a I/C.
  8. That guy does some ahwsome work. The ultimate Z car... power and looks...
  9. Click on this link http://www.hybridz.org/phpBB2/viewforum.php?f=15&topicdays=0&start=25 and you'll find this by AKWIKZ Posted: 05 Jan 2004 23:18 Post subject: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I have pretty much everything you might need. I have several motors, including an R32 RB20det (215hp), an R34 RB25det (287hp), and of course a couple RB26dett's. I also have brand new sets of Z31 200ZR mounts, and the all important 200ZR rear sump oil pan with pick up tube, also brand new from Nissan Japan. Pretty much all you will need is the modified driveshaft, if even that. For the RB20 with all the parts listed I'm asking $3200. Prices move up with the bigger motors of course. I'm in San Diego and am happy to ship. Let me know if you're interested. Brian
  10. I don't think Clifton used the Datsun bellhousing. I'm sure he ment he is using the R-154 bolted up to the 7MGTE.
  11. yea, like on3go said. anything for the z that you don't see sold everyday on zcar.com or ebay, would good to start with... myself, I'd perfer a clip over engine set. their are important parts needed with these swaps that most of the time don't come with just the engine/trans pakage. if your doing a swap and like me, already have a aftermarket programable engine managment ecu, then you can most likely get by with just the engine set. I want a RB25 clip or a 1JZ clip. give me your best price...
  12. Is this a trick question?? I give up... what kind do you have??
  13. Well, I received these seats today. They are very nice, and lite, but I can see a problem already.. , my most common passenger is very HAIRY, and these seats will be a hair magnet. At least with the oem seats, I could just wipe, or blow of the seats, but now.... man what a beach..... Just taking them out of the bags, I got carpet furr all over them... Oh well... I'll have to get used to them, they are nice...
  14. wupps, I forgot to ask.... are you pondering doing the adj fronts also?? I could use a set of those to....
  15. I'll take a RB25 with a 5 spd and all the goodies needed to install it into my 260....
  16. I'm running a Tec2 unit, but I just used a brass freeze plug with a little sealant on the edge. I can't remember what size it is, but it's a common size, and it looks clean
  17. I'm running 17x7's with 42mm offset and two piece 5 lug adaptors. I wish I would have ordered them with more offset so I could use a wider rim and tire, but I didn't have my coil overs yet...
  18. When I first bought my 17" Raptors, I had them on my car. They were 225/40/zr17s and I was very happy with the great traction in wet driving, and the all around feel of them. I've sinse went to Bridgstone Potenzo S13s and thats a tire......
  19. Thanks foe the heads up.... I just bought a pair!! Tell me, do they come as a pair, meaning, do they have the reclining latch on the left side on one, and the right side on the other? What do you think of them? are you satisfied with what you got for the money? thanks again joel
  20. Yes...... but.... you will need to notch thr bore for the larger valves..
