  1. get yourself a "early" 260z, they are just as good/ nice as the 240.... ask me, I know. I've had both and belive you'd be just as happy with either... I think my early 260 is pretty dang close in curb weight to the later 240's
  2. just thought I'd show how my "ugly FWD 0 offset" wheel stance....
  3. I have some pics of mine installed >> CLICK RIGHT HERE
  4. Well.... has anybody tried hooking up the wires yet?? I really don't want to just hook it up to a on/off switch... I'd like to use the 3 speeds with the intermetin (sp?)
  5. Well lookie whos back!!!! I thought you may have got outa the Z world Donna. Haven't seen/ heard from ya in a loooong time. Everything OK for ya??
  6. hummm thats strange, I just had a torque plate made for my RB26 rebuild, and it is exactly the same headbolt/bore spaceing. I set the torque plate on either block, and the head bolts fit thru the same holes.... (different sized bolts tho)
  7. I passed this post onto a friend TimO, who will gladly get back to you with his experince on his GT35r/L28T
  8. I have another one of those I/C's if your intrested. The duma$$ JDM Importer sent a 2JZ I/C with my RB26 motor set instead of a GTR I/C.
  9. You could move on over here to Louisiana.....lol... we don't use them
  10. I saw a neat little trick to see if a clickable is what it says it is. Put the arrow from your mouse on the clickable, then watch and read what shows up in your browser address bar on the bottom of your screen (my screen shows it), if it dosen't say the address where you want to go, its bogus.....
  11. Dang I wish I had the brains to figure out how to hook this new motor up..... It's pitiful I have this set up all ready to go, and after todays gully washer, I need it asap... grrrrrr.....
  12. For those who haven't seen a pic yet...
  13. thats BS sounds like Kerry propaganda to me....
  14. I messed around with my Honda motor today and wanted to share what I learned. One of these pics shows that there are major differences in the 70-73 z motor compared to the 74-? motor. Either one can be mounted though onto the z motor plate, since the holes have to be redrilled anyways... I haven't installed it into my 260 yet, (I was waiting for someone else to figure out the wiring first.. ) The only mod I had to do to install this motor onto the z mounting plate was, center the drive, mark holes for redrill, redrill, then notch mounting plate for new motor to clear... LINKS TO PICS BELOW ARE BROKEN, I WILL TRY TO RELOAD ** below pic show difference in old shaft and new motor shaft ** ** below shows difference in 70-73 motor and 74-? motor ** ** pic shows notch I had to cut in 74 mounting plate ** ** finished product ** [/b]
