  1. I concur that is a sweet 240Z you have.
  2. Beautiful set-up Clarkspeed! Yasin
  3. I have the external GSL392 as well and mine is super quiet...you can bearly tell that it is running. Yasin
  4. My ZXT records 10psi of oil pressure at idle and 45psi at WOT, based on my Autometer Mechanical gauge. Hope that helps
  5. I'm with bastaad...I was blown away with the Supra article and the street driven 900hp monsters...totally incredible. Yasin
  6. So does that make me twice as cool as I have both....ummm.yeah right! Yasin
  7. I agree with Michael, I have run all Mechanical Autometer gauges and used braided steel lines with Earls fittings so no chance of getting hot oil or coolant inside the car. I do not like the teflon straw lines with the brass ferrels supplied with the Autometer gauges. Mechanical are more of a pain to install but definitely worth the effort. Here is mine: Yasin
  8. It depsneds on temperatures you will be running too guys. I agree that the Sterling is not their "hotest" coating, their 2000 coating is also avialable in blue now. Here is what it looks like: Which I think looks great as well. I did some testing with my infrared Pyrometer on my Porsche 911 Turbo (which runs extremely HOT, as it is all air cooled), before the Sterling silver the manifolds would record 1100+ temps easily now after the Sterling coating the hotest I have seen is around 480F, which shows the heat is staying in the pipe. In terms of durability I will see how long the coating lasts. Yasin
  9. Daw - Cooool post. I am big Mercedes fan and just recently sold my Euro Spec W124 Sportline E320 which was the last year for the twin cam straight six, 24V WITH variable valve timing (218hp and 220ft.lbs) I think the 3.2L V6 are good engines and replaced the decades of Mercedes and their legendery straight six designs. I would love to hear about your conversion of your 380SEC from the 3.8L V8 to the 3.2L V6. Personally I think the 3.8L V8 is very anemic, so I am glad you are not going to bother with it. $500 is a steal good for you - WOW! I almost recently bought a 1989 560SEC, which I think is one of the sexiest cars still after being 20years old. Pillarless, long and sleek....mine would be lowered with 18" AMGs and that would be it....yum! I know I nuts....but this is my second fav. Benz of all time, 450SEL 6.9: Yasin
  10. Wow....love that rear end....I mean such a sweet booty! Yasin
  11. Congrats dude! Get that RB done for quick trips around the block to put baybee to sleep. Yasin
  12. More than likely they will meida bead blast the headers before re-coating them, I know this for a fact as when I sent in my last set of headers there was some stray beads lying around inside the pipe. Sand blasting is too hard on the metal and they only need a slight "etch" for the coating to stick properly. P.S: Thanks for the compliments too..wink..wink! Yasin
  13. Wow....ultra cooooool....TEMPTING! I'm going to track it. Yasin
  14. I agree those headers were VERY cheaply coated, they should not be spot rusting like that, you can tell they were poorly coated as the flange is rusting the worst pribably due to their inability to get the ceramic spray coat on it during application....I would complain to JTR and get your $$ back -or- have them send you a new ceramic coated set -or- let re-caot your headers -or- send them to Jet Hot and have JTR pay for the cost. Jet Host will probably charge you about $100 per side to re-coat. I have only trusted Jet Hot over the years. Typically their Sterling Silver ceramic finish will loose some of the initial shine over the years with all the heat cycles but still looks fabulous and will not rust like your JTR thats for sure! Here is a down pipe they did for me for my old turbo Corolla: BEFORE (bottom downpipe not the wrapped top one): After: This is a set they just finished on my Porsche 911 Turbo: Hope that helps! Yasin
  15. I agree 101% with ZGAD....copper spray is the way to go! Yasin
  16. Really really beautiful car and always loved those Snypers....but you need to do something about that tailpipe! Yasin
  17. Tony - Great work my friend...very impressive and I tip my hat to you in utmost respect. Love the conversion, attention to detail and the best thing your car is going to run like scalded cut on steroids. LOVE IT! Yasin
  18. I think its another "Flavor Of The Month" from Chrysler....this company is the KING of producing novelty cars that looks great when they are launched and fade quickly....let's see: 1) Neon - remember all the hype when they were launched over 10years ago? 2) Prowler - what happened to these $60G Intrepid powered cars anyway? 3) PT Cruiser - Does anyone actually give these a second look now? 4) Ram trucks - more hype due to the International truck nose... The list goes on and on....I call it creative marketing. Yasin
  19. Beautiful work Jamie...wonderful talent and fab skills. Much respect and keep those pics coming Yasin
  20. Sport Compact Car had a '89 Maxima featured a while ago where the owner did the full VG30ET 300ZX Turbo engine swap. Apparently it was insane. Yasin
  21. Great to hear from you Tony, looking forward to some numbers after your dyno run. Yasin
  22. Battle - You're a big dude - whoa! Get that Q dumped on 19s VIP style.... Yasin
  23. I think people are really too hard on the 7MGTE. Go to http://www.7mpower.com they are great engines... 1) Twin Independent Cams 2) 24V 3) Distributorless 4) Straight six Great power potential..... I love them Yasin
