  1. Its ugly and its steel...time to get some new boots for papa.
  2. Yup that car has been in the community for a while. Stunning car, stunning build and perfect.
  3. Don't let Aux see that! Car is awesome..beautifully done..very beautiful. The model is uber cute as well. It says the wheels are made by Barramundi Design Forged Wheel..never heard of them...nice looking though. Great car!
  4. I would say bring back something that you can actually get parts for over here in case you got into a fender bender or needed to do an engine \ tranny rebuild. It would be impractical to bring back a R30/R31 even thought they are as cool as heck..god forbid you need a fender or tail light, even in Japan they are getting rare! A KE70 really? You can pick-up those for a few hundred over here.... What about a MA70 Supra with a 1J? or AW11 MR2 Supercharged AE86 Kouki would be sweet Z31 with a RB20? S10/S11?? SA22 RX7 or FC3S RX7 TurboII? Mitsu Starion? Mazda 323 GTX / GT? Isuzu Piazza Turbo? Just some thoughts... Yasin
  5. Thanks Sparky! The Roadster was the sweetie in the bunch a true gem, even my Dad was perturbed with me that I sold it. It was incredibly reliable, good looking and a great and (getting rare) car. Nope, that was not me at the Branson show, the new owner of the Roadster lives in Minot, ND so doubt it was him. My former Roadster is rare from the standpoint of the rare 4 spoke Revolution wheels from England and the red interior. Yup you said it!!! Thanks for all the support guys!
  6. Well gang - I just have way too many cars and with a new job that is demanding and involves alot of travelling and long hours I decided to sell four of my cars in the past 12 months(ironically all were Nissan products)!! It was a tough decision and alot of anguish...but it still leaves me with lots to tinker with including my still unfinished white '83 280ZX Turbo. I find I spend too much time trying to make each one perfect and it has become a financial and time drain...so I reduced the "fleet" to a manageable load..so sadly I bid farewell to: 1) Featured in Classic Car Magazine, I won $200 for the feature. 1978 280Z 5 speed, rescued from being crushed after sitting in a forest for almost 10 years. The day I rescued it: The day it sold: 2) Featured in Thoroghbred and Classic Car - Owner's ride feature car, I surprisingly won a $1000+ Swiss Watch for the feature (!) also featured in Nissan Sport for the 50th anniversary of Nissan in the USA. 1967 Roadster 1600, bought from the original owners after laying dormant for about 8years in their garage under a sheet of construction plastic. The day I rescued it: The day it sold: 3) Bought this car from the original owner, only 53K on the odo, fully loaded right down to the Datsun Foglights and heated door mirrors. Seldom driven as the elderly owner found it tricky to get in and out of the car (he was getting athritic). 1983 280ZX Turbo 5 speed. The day I bought it: The day it sold: 4) 2004 M45 Infiniti M45...sweet car...great power..handsome from every angle, rare and every conceivable option from A\C cooled seats to voice recognition.
  7. I wonder how badly damaged the wiring harness is from the rodents?
  8. Jeff..ouch..so is that 4.2L straight six going to be Turbo'd for an upcoming Z/ZX project? Sounds like someone might be making Salsa at Taco Cabana's for the rest of their life. Does your company go after the employee for any damages etc etc..how much will the employee be responsible for?
  9. Wow..looks awesome. Who installed and set-up \ tuned your Haltech? Any problems with installing it and building the harness? I noticed you are still running a distributor.
  10. I had problems with this Airtex pump from AutoZone and took it back. I ended up buying a Walbro 255lph and it worked great. AutoZone gave me a hard time as I had run fuel through it and I got into a heated verbal fight with the Manager, they said that they would not refund my money as it was "used" and had run fuel through it..it got ugly. Yasin
  11. Nice job beautifully documented, I love how you put the angles on the layout. That is a sweet Magnaflow as well. Yasin
  12. I really enjoyed those! Awesome!
  13. Amazing video...with incredible footage..I loved how they focussed on facial expressions and the human interaction. The music in some sections was fantastic too...incredible production. Kudos!! 24 HOURS IN 19500 FRAMES 13 minutes - Watch full screen in HD. Absolutely amazing. Yasin
  14. Thanks for that morning laugh...I know you are kidding..you are kidding?....RIGHT???
  15. Rare has a "loose" definition. I would not really call this car rare. The color is fairly common and realize that the car has been painted as they were never available in the two tone that your car wears, and then of course someone ruined the hood and wheels by painting them flat black. The slick top is definitely more rare than the more common T-Tops. Enjoy the car and welcome to HybridZ. The car looks clean and straight and I hope you enjoy, maintain and keep it for a long time to come, I have owned my ZX for 10 years now and it still gets me giddy when I drive it...no joke! Yasin
  16. Beautifully executed..wow...sexy GTE?
  17. Mine...207,000 miles. I am the second owner. 15psi of boost and even has cold A\C. It is fun and kind of rare sight anymore.
  18. Running SUs carbs..way to go the wrong way in modifying the car!
  19. Give us more details and pictures...how does the car run for example?
  20. The cute Asian girl was the best and everyone looking over at the speedometer was hilarious..awesome commercial!
  21. Bob..I did not realize the W124s 300E in the US came with a 5 speed? Very coool..does the pedal box and all the hydraulics bolt into the 190E chassis..also does the bell housing simply bolt onto the 190E block? I love your 190E..very cool and love those seats and the color. I recently got my W211 E55 back from Kleeman...599wheel torque! It is nasty.
  22. Wow..sorry to read this and see that picture. Good luck with insurance, I hope they do right by you. In the grand scheme, look at this way, you walked away and have your health.
  23. Dammmnit....Dom still owes me a 10second car.
