  1. The stacked headlight Benz of the '60s and early '70s is a huge favorite for me as well (chassis code W108/109), I would love one as a daily driver! Is your car a 280SE? Or does it have a V8 (3.5 / 4.5L)...can you imagine a 6.3L..that would be so uber sweet. Yasin
  2. Loved it!! Awesome!! So animated.
  3. Beautiful interiors guys...very inspiring...that hand stitched dash would make Lamborghini owner's blush.
  4. Beautiful brother J! Those ITBs are so so sexxxy...! Love them! Sorry that the snow has been horrid this year. Yasin
  5. Sweet work Josh! Some questions for you: 1) Will the rod lightening = a bit more rpms at the top end? 2) Which engine gasket set did you buy? 3) What caused the stock piston to pit and get so damaged? 4) What Compression are the new pistons? 5) Any head work? 5) Will this U20 run SUs or Side drafts? 6) Stock cam? Thanks for sharing Yasin
  6. I thoroughlly loved that Video..so much so I ended up watching Group B rally videos on YouTube last night until midnight! I was a little shaver during those days in the '80s so grew up lusting after some of those cars. I did not realize the BMW M1 and Porsche 911 were also Group B class cars. Yasin
  7. Will watch the video later at home, but ALWAYS loved Colin especially when he drove for Subaru. His driving style was described as "Reckless" alot, but loved his fury when he drove but was yet VERY calm by his facial expressions (even whe he crashed a car and was climbing through the windshield!!) and always had a great demeanor on camera, an overall A+ stand-up athlete and guy! The late '90s (and before) to around 2005/6 was my favorite WRC times. RIP Colin! The way he died really saddened me and he lost a son in that helicopter crash as well. Yasin
  8. Derek's straight line speed is scary..wow and he is very composed as he barely holding the sterring wheel and even one handed for a moment. What I wonder is through the corners he hits the rumble strips hard and it upsets the cars balance and he has to make sure he is holding on to it, makes me wonder why he does not try and keep it on the black top through the corners? Yasin
  9. Well...I have had over 10 people ask me to build this for their 280ZXs, and in fact I have built 2 to date. Maybe this summer when I have time, I am in a new job and settling into my new surroundings in Houston...so we'll see. Thing is it takes about 20hours (minimum) to make one and make it *really* perfect, lots of fiberglassing and sanding and more fiberglassing and more sanding..so it is labor intensive too...just curious what would you pay for one? If you notice my friend, my post is from 2006, long before there was even an S130 or 280ZX Model Specific forum. The site has changed and evolved, so doing a global search on the site is always recommended! Yasin
  10. Search is your friend, I have done some extensive research and written several tech posts (of which one is a Sticky) with many pictures about making a true fit 3 gauge pod for a ZX, for example: http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=113339&highlight=pod Yasin
  11. Mine 3.5" mandrel with Burns Stainless muffler: Soundclip fast forward to last 30seconds in the video: Yasin
  12. Damn Scott..what kind of 944 is that? Weird '80s bodykit, does not even have a factory fabric roof and Fuchs..I do not believe the cabrio cars came fitted with Fuchs. What is under the hood? 8V, 16V, 25L, 2.7L, 3.0L...turbo, N/A? Waiting baited breath for more pics. Yasin
  13. My pleasure bro! Had to say it...sheeet 300whp in a Z is ridiculous. Yasin
  14. Hoover - Please let us know more about your car! Not sure why everyone is so "caught-up" with 400 or 500hp...350-360whp in a Z is wicked faaast. L28ET is a great motor but it certainly it is no RB Yasin
  15. Thanks for watching my video! I need to put a new one up...soon I promise!! Yasin
  16. Well guys I am in Houston now, do you need me to assist? Yasin
  17. So you went to the Planet Zero meet? It was packed to the gills from the pics, I was out of town unfortunately. Yasin
  18. Guys I was thinking about cars or car companies that started a trend that then caused a massive trend with other cars companies and the aftermarket industry...I am going to start off the top of my head...please add your list too 1) Lamborghini doors 2) BMW's angel eyes 3) Audi LED front lights 4) Porsche red painted brake calipers 5) Toyota Lexus Altezza tail lights 6) BMW and Mercedes HID headlights 7) Porsche successfully commercializing Turbo technology (Corvair and BMW 2002 Turbo not incl.) 8) Mercedes successfully commercializing Diesel technology 9) Audi and Subaru successfully commercializing AWD technology 10) Mazda successfully commercializing rotary engine technology your turn!
  19. Where in Houston are you? Do you go to any of the meets? Would love to see that awesome set-up! Yasin
  20. Sounds great!!! My car and I are always down for some high octane! Thanks for the compliments bro! Yasin
  21. I am assuming we just reply to this post..it was not clear in your original post. Here is my contribution Yasin
  22. So you go through the trouble of putting a cover on the car only to drop it on the ground after you remove it? Ironic... Also why do you put your headlights on before starting the car? Not feeling the music, but meh...good video overall Yasin
