    SDS problems

James - You could PM Austin as he has the same SDS set-up as you, -or- call SDS they have excellent customer service. If that does not work, I have an aquaintence in Toronto who has done a few SDS installs in Zs and he is a great guy that can help you out. Yasin
  5. Awesome!! Keep it coming! Tony is your man if you get stuck! Yasin
  6. Surprisingly nope....guys making big power usually use the stock cast manifold which apparently is good to 400+. The aftermarket turbo manifolds are few and far between and usually one off custom pieces that require big $$ to fabricate. There is actually a guy in Australia (he is on this board - forget his name) with a beautiful Medusa looking thing..because you guys have RHD drive allowed an intricate tube set-up and not having to worry with the brake boosterlinesmastersteering linkage cylinder in the way. Mike on3go also has a sexxy piece that he has, that will have to be modified to fit the LHD Z cars...this is what his manifold looks like (I am sure he does not mind me posting the pics): Yasin
  7. I have heard incredible power potential with those 5V 1.8L motors. Incredible work! Much respect. Yasin
  8. Cool video buddy...but what with the beating on the FPR and the BOV...LOL! Neaten up your engine bay with the wiring and find a home for that fuel pump and the car will look much much better. Here is a suggestion for your AFM placement...as it seems like you are not running an air filter, true COLD AIR....and you can easily fab a shield to deflect water: Yasin
  9. OK I'll play.... 1) Stock Manifold with a 46mm HKS welded on....bought from Dave P....this manifold with the WG weighs 24lbs 2) SFP (South Florida Performance) manifold I bought 4years ago (!!) and kept in a box with a bunch of friendly spiders watchdogging ...external WG pipe and flange to be welded in this week and I will be running a 38mm TiAL WG...weight about half of the stock manifold. Yes I will have to send it back to be JetCoated! Yasin

  14. So coming home last night from work about 6pm on the Interstate, I see a brand new C6 convertible flying up the fast lane on the left….I was thinking man this guy is asking for trouble driving at that speed in rush hour traffic. Anyway he had that typical “GC†look, suit, designer sun glasses, clean cut, blue-tooth hands free headset blah blah…he made sure that everyone could see him as went past them and you can tell he was feeling pretty damn smug in his brand new C6. Well he caught up with the sea of red lights and rush hour traffic and talk about idiot…switching from one lane to another back and forth and weaving in and out…I was surprised someone did not block him cut him off and teach him a lesson…. Oh well, I am in no means trying to stereotype Corvette owners drivers, just stupid aggressive drivers. I have to say that I was impressed with the throttle response on the C6 as he went past me and my car is not exactly slow. Its funny as he went past all you could see was a head above the door line of the car. Last time I was in traffic like this and there was a jerk in lowered brand new Acura TSX on 19in wheels and the owner was doing the same thing weaving in and out in traffic, well he cut-off a guy driving a Power Stroke and the guy in the Ford threw his glass bottle of “SoBe Ice Tea†at the TSX smashing it against the car….OUCH…but served him right! Okay I feel better! Yasin
