  1. Allen, Texas? What, like me? heheh, maybe I'll go take a look at it.
  2. that's awesome! I want one now. are you going to do an interior? That VW is nuts, too.
  3. Great job with the flamework. Personally, i'm not big about flames on cars besides the occasional hotrod. I also like your car because so far, you've managed to black everything out so nicely. I like black cars, so if it were me, i'd leave it as is. Up to you, really. At least the flames you have would look good if you did it, not the retarded crap I see all the time on the local ricers.
  4. My '78 280z has a carb on it, so its possible, Sho. Anyway, from what I know from what you said, all I can say to the question of it just needing the carb cleaned out is, maybe, maybe not. Not very much info to go on. I know that when I got my car, the only reason it would start, but wouldn't stay running, was because the fuel lines were cracked. I replaced those, and sent my carb to my grandfather to rebuild for free, so I don't know how much it'd cost to repair. He lives in California, though. What kind of Carb is it? He has a "shop," maybe he can repair it for you. (for a (decent) price most likey; i'm family, so I got it free. lucky me. ) from what you've said about it starting, then dieing, you might check to make sure the fuel lines are intact as well.
  5. haha! If ya say so. It's not a movie that can ever truly be "good" But I know what you're saying
  6. maybe a .5% discount for when the kit is available. heh
  7. Looks like some freak-mix of a Koenigsegg CC, Lamborghini Diablo, Saleen S7 and Ferrari F50 or something.
  8. Oh, haha! Wow, I need to get my vision checked (again). I thought it was some giant thing sticking out of the trunk of the white car in the background, and that dude out on the street was staring at it. heh, can't believe I didn't see what it really is.
  9. If the vote for what to paint your bumper is still open, I definately would go with a semi-gloss or gloss black. Flat makes it look like plastic, and as others said, detracts from the car. If it matched the car paint, it would be excellent
  10. Cool, looks sort of like a new Batmobile. Whats that big cartoon-rocket looking thing in the upper-left background? I wanted to let you guys know i've gotten photoshop loaded back onto my computer, so I can slowly start working on the requests again. I'm extremely sorry for yet another delay, I know how it feels to keep getting put off. I've started school again since my computer's been down, so it will be a bit more slow going, but at least I'll be able to start working on the stuff again.
  11. definately seems like a good deal for a parts car. you could probably rescue those bumpers, as well as several other parts you, or someone else, could use. You can sell whatever you don't need to us here at hybridZ or on ebay. I would... Oh, and I see it's up to $500...screw that, i've seen better deals. Nevermind
  12. heh, cool pictures. It is kinda odd to be scrolling through those American cars and all of a sudden up pops a Datsun. I don't mind it, though. Out of place sort of, but who cares? And I love that Cobra Ha, just noticed this what show this was; My grandpa was down there selling hot rods. He sent me a shirt from the event.
  13. Dude, don't be ashamed, dumpster diving is awesome! I don't do it for food or anything, but some of the cool stuff i've gotten before are: -Working overhead projector (Sold it on Ebay for 30 bucks after having fun with it for a week...) -Working Antique Carousel Gumball Machine (No clue why they threw it away. I turned it into a really cool lamp, but can convert it back to gumball machine whenever I want.) -Chairs -Desk (since replaced) -Lamps (some lighting store clearing their inventory...) -Wood (I can always use extra wood for projects) -TWENTY Giant Aluminum server racks (Think of all the stuff I can do with them! heh) -Probably like 2 miles of ethernet cable, all at once. (One of my best finds...There were pre-tipped cables and boxes of uncut, untipped cable.) -Lots of other cool stuff I recommend doing it, especially if you know there is probably something good in there.
  14. all right, thanks. I just wanted to make sure there wasn't anything I might f*ck up in the block by doing this.
  15. Ok, i'm replacing the water pump on my '78 280Z. The bottommost 2 bolt holes in the engine block are stripped out. I either need to retap them or, if possible, (this would be easier) retap the holes slightly larger and use slightly shorter, larger diameter bolts. If anyone has any info on this that can help me do the best thing, i'd really appreciate it. Its pretty much the only thing keeping me from getting my Z running again.
  16. ha! That was f-ing awesome. morons
  17. ha! If anyone has some better pics of this thing, post 'em. This is crazy
  18. I think I'll vote for the Celica. I like it a lot.
  19. ah, that's right...Well, the item had already ended by the time I looked at it yesterday.
  20. ha! We should, that'd be pretty funny. Really, though, what you should do when you point something that significant out, where it could affect the person who buys the product, you should leave a public comment, the one that appears at the bottom of the page. Lets see him tell you to f yourself where everyone can see!
  21. ech, yeah, that font is sort of horrible...
  22. heh, a Z limo. Extend the nose just a leeeeetle bit to make the proportions look better. Also, if you made it a four door, it'd be really believable. nice work
