I really got tired of looking at the little rust spots on my floor pans getting worse because of my leaking windshield rubber.
Well my rubber will be replaced soon so I decided to go ahead and re-coat the floors the best I can until I can afford to put her on a rotissery and do it right. College first! But I don't want her to rot; I got lucky to have pans in this condition. Here are the results.

I Used:
-Rustoleum Professional Primer $5
-Rustoleum Profession Semi Gloss Black $5
-Painter tape (Dollar Store sells the blue paint tape!) $1
-Free news papers *Freebie
-Drill and Wire brush attachment $2
-220-500 grit sand paper w/block $3
-Rubber mallet (to hammer floor dents) $3
-Putty knife/screw driver/heat gun to remove rubber coat. *Freebies

I guess you could roll it on or use High density brushes, but I think it will cost a little more considering the brushes, rollers, and mineral spirits etc.
I didnt want to use 3M rubberized coating because I wanted to be able to remove it easily later down the road.
