What are the guidelines of the senior project for a engine swap? Where in WA are you?

Yeah I looked at that website. Im hoping to get a taser off ebay but if that fails I was wondering if any of the electricians on HybridZ would know how to make something to make a good spark. My guns pretty simple 5'' chamber down to 2'' by 4' barrel that is detachable. Also has a airvalve in the plug so you can "supercharge" it. There not that unreliable if you get the mixture right. Ive never used airspray, carb cleaner works alot better.

No, the gases have to only be able to expand out the barrel to push the potato. The chamber has to be completely sealed. Im hoping to bid on a taser on ebay thats cheap but you never know if youll get it.

Id recommend not getting the Al. head hot tanked. I guess the hot tank eats away at the Al.

Hey I recently made myself a new potato gun and Im just needing to do the ignition system now. Ive used a barbeque ignitor a flash unit off a camera and they all worked for a while to make a ok spark and then broke. Im not a electrician and I was wondering If anyone had a good Idea on how to get a good consistent spark for pretty cheap. Ive been looking at tasers on ebay but there kinda spendy.

I went with the "learn" and it hasnt been alot of fun. Ive had 5 yrs to learn and its still not done.

Im guessing that It would be better to have a simpler designed wing or do the changes in the shape help? Completely flat vs. a curved shape. Is a wing supposed to be intimidating? I think they might be ahead of us being that theyve used wings like this for years.

Does that mean you bought one or are those your plans once you buy one? You made a good choice not getting it I think. At some point its worth just waiting and saving some more money to get a nicer Z.

Id check the driveshaft and u joints. When my car was on the road we got the driveshaft worked on and it really helped. (the shake)

I actually saw a Gremlin pulling a boat a bit smaller then that. It wasnt much smaller mabey a few feet shorter. I was pretty stunded. Id look at a dakota rt or like everyone else said a toyota.

This was made from my perspective of aerodynamics and is probably far from correct but its a try. The "panel" (not best word) I mentioned is kinda like what 240hoke has on his airdam. Hope this is helpful. Caution lots of arrows!!

Yeah I think the important thing to think about is if your cars a street car or a race car. Im sure it would help to have the airdam scraping the ground but then you cant go over any bumps etc. Just thought Id mention that. Anyways like on the car of tomorrow the front air dam routes air out the sides in front of the tires. If you were to make a panel that extends out from under the air dam and then goes around the side of the car to the front of the tires where some kind of flare routes the air out sideways? Would that help. Ill work on some kind of picture its hard to explain.

Im not completely sure but doesnt this have to do with how air moves over air better then metal kinda like the tailgait up or down myth? Instead of the air moving on the car it goes over the top of the higher pressure? No ideas?

Looks great. What is the material? Im hoping to find some RX7 seats, or if I find a Eclipse Id probably pull its seats. Both of the seats look like the originals but a little more modern like you said.

I agree youd need something bigger. We had a Astro van with the same motor and wed toy my sisters horse and trailer and it could hardly handle it. We upgraded to a suburban to be able to tow it. (350 V8)

Any opinions on if the different roofline of the 2+2 would be better aerodynamically?

Hows it feel slow? How fast is your Z? Yeah it is kinda sad that they changed the looks on the WRX. It looks like a kia or something.

I checked awhile back if Id have to go through emissions and if Im remembering correct I wouldnt have to. But I might be wrong. Ill have to check again.

Well my dad and Im guessing alot of others smoked marijuana but Im not sure If your teacher would like it if you talked about drugs.

If you turn the power off once the fires started the fires wont go out. Removing to ignition source from the fire doesnt put it out. So if theyres a small fire under your car youd let it burn your car cause you dont want to take the risk to put it out?
