    Im goin to have to try this out. I need to replace all my clips in one of my z's and I bet this is the cheaper route.

    cool let us know how it goes. I want a tig so bad. I have 2arc and 2migs welders. I think tigs are amazing if you can get the hang of them. Some of the shops around here do torch welding when it comes to welding on cast for some reason. to each their own.

    Oh cool. Yeah with my luck my s30 would have fell on the floor when I went to rotate it. And I would have followed while crying like a little girl lol

    It can be done. But its goin to take extra bracing, mounting system, etc. It will be alot of work. If your not very savy with fabricating find someone who is but be ready to pay. It would be nice to have if and only if it was done correctly. The last thing you want to do is hack a perfectly good z up.

    If I were you I would use some blue painters tape and tape it on to get the idea of how it will look. Then if you like it go ahead with it but there wont be any turning back. Just make sure its something YOU want. You will be the one seeing it every day every bodyelse will see it when we read your thread.

    I say go with no bumpers. S30's look better without them. Now it just needs a big intercooler in the front.***hint hint***lol

    I would give them a call and tell them that it does not fit right. The worse they can say is sorry we cant give refunds/exchanges. I ordered one about 2.5 years ago and they let me get a refund. But I had to pay for shipping which was b.s.

    Man now I wish I did'nt sell my 260. I love the kit and the rims. Once its finished it will be one of the best looking s30's on here

    Man I would have been pissed too. Your insurance company is great since they will cover it for you. A lot of times they will tell you since it was not orginally in the car when it was made they can not cover it.

    Looks nice. I also plan on doing the same thing but I'm moving and have a kid on the way. You may want to make something to attach to the back part where the handles go on each end. To prevent them from sliding out when the pins are removed for rotating the car.

    +1 It takes practice to get good just like anything else. I would also go to your local book store and buy/read welding books they will help you out also.

    There are t3 to t4 adaptors that you can buy on ebay. Some even have external wastegate flanges on them too.

    hell if you click on my name and then go to all stats I have more than 40 posts. But when you look on the left in a thread anywhere it caims I only have 17.

    Is anyone going? I'm taking my z31 and watch me be the only z31 lol. If you are going what days? I'm tryin to when everyone plans on going so maybe some of us can all drive to it together or something

    VGT spool quick. I have seen some boost 20lbs as low as 2k. The VGT can be controlled by an Apexi AVCR. They use a .5-5v control solenoid which happens to be the output of the AVCR.
