  1. Thanks, I was planning on getting the 10mm shorter steering knuckles from ArizonaZCar. I'll just see what I can do! Thanks guys.
  2. I'm setting my '71 240Z up for drifting and was wondering if there is a way to modify the stock steering rack to get more steering angle out of it? Or am I going to have to opt to the use of an S13 (240SX) steering rack. I tried to contact driftz240 but no response. Any help would be much appreciated, thanks!

  4. Hey guys! I'm becoming the Vice President over at a website called NissanPacific.com. We're a rather large community, nearly 1500 members, and the 25th of February is our anniversary. This club is for all of us in the Pacific Nortwest. Washington, Oregon, California, even Idaho. So join up and tell all your friends! Tell 'em theianmonster sent you! - Ian.
  5. I used motorcycle turn signals on the inside of the grill area on the bottom. Drilled a hole on either side, and they have a nut on the back that fastens them. Bright as hell.
  6. The hole is stamped inward, and towards the windshield, it follows the same curvature as the rest of the cowl. The wholes are ovaled.
  7. Good luck finding the g-nose, haha.
  8. I don't like it; it just looks like 200 years of grease piled up.
  9. Hopefully you made the box big enough for the subwoofer, every subwoofer has a different minimum enclosure space.
  10. They make two different versions of it, one with brake cooling ducts and one without.
  11. I replaced my rear quarter panel on my 240Z when I was 15 (I'm almost 18 now) and it was only $30. I recommend going to your body supply store and buying a tube of Duramax Large Panel adhesive, its stronger than welding, and is easier to use. Also, I would recommend finding another 280Z 2+2 with good rear quarters (at a junkyard or something) and cutting them off and putting them on your car. If you work at it, you can do your own body work, I've done all of mine and I'm spraying primer tonight.
  12. Mine had a vented G-Nose, and the G-Nose plays a big part in Datsun styling, don't hate.
  13. Awesome, a guy from Bellevue! If you ever need some help, I'm in Redmond.
  14. I say yes, primeraly because you do amazing flame work, and also because not many people flame Z's. My only suggestion is try a different color of flames.
  15. Sand blast it and see what's really wrong with it then decide what to do from there.
  16. I'm probably picking up a '69 240Z in the next few weeks (yeah, I found one, haha), and a G-nose might set it off, keep us updated on you reproducing those bad boys.
  17. Wow, that's gonna look awesome. You should make a carbon fiber rear splitter to go with the wing.
  18. Awesome, can't wait to see the finished product.
  19. I recommend a filler primer. It fills any little imperfections in the body like scratches. All you have to do is wet sand it smooth with 600 after you spray it.
  20. Looks awesome, I'm using that same front air dam, but not the full kit. Looks good.
