    I think i remeber a thread of of someone having issue with a fiberglass rear unit but not sure it was MSA . The finish was ok but the cutting aon the back part that goes against the car was not good it had waves and curves .

    You could try and gather info about the RB on GTRC forum ( http://forums.gtrcanada.com/ ) the guys there are VERY helpfull you probably know of that forum but im just putting it out there since lots of knowledge is held by some members there . I know you said you dont like visiting a gazillion sites but a quick search here and there could probably shed some light on your inquiry's .

    Wouldnt completly blocking the under side of the engine compartment and then ducking the hood ,make it better for coefficient of friction and hot air not going in the engine compartment then you use the airdam ducks and route a pipe to the brakes to cool them . like this :

    1Jz is a better motor then the RB25 but that is just based on my opinions and alot of reading . Im not saying the RB25 sucks the 1JZ is just better and for cheaper then and RB30 you can make a 1.5JZ .

    I got a couple articles about the thing i saw but they are all in french so you guys may not understand whats written . EDIT : mostly it says its kinda of what and Aquamist does but by some other device it make brown gas . It says that the germans use it on their WW2 Messerschmitt .

    i know their is contraption to burn water AND deisel in a deisel engineit gives better mpg and is less poluting if i ever find the link again il post it it works great i think it uses the downpipe to heat a canister full of water and the vapor is fed to the injector with the fuel and is burnt that way ... was something like that .

    Anyway a STI or WRX motor is more expensive then a RB26 ... I have a WRX and i would to see tht engine in a Z the sound of those EJ is just so freankin amazing .

    Damn i am pretty impressed by those designs hehe . Even if their is less Aftermarket their is no price for the cool factor of custom made stuff .

    WOW 4500$ its 3 times that in Canada to get a GTR in that shape ! Congradulatin on the purchase .
