  3. Did you talk to the guy at Z Car Customs? They were working on this spoiler at one point: http://forums.hybridz.org/topic/95852-new-g-nose-airdam-finally-arrived/
  4. Very nice. What kind of backspacing on the rear wheels? Also what are the front wheel/tire specs?
  5. I'm looking for a pair of Ground Control coilover sleeves for the rear of a 280z. I don't need anything but a pair of the sleeves themselves and specifically am looking for Ground Control. Kind of a long shot, but hoping someone has these. I had ordered a set of 2.17" inner diamater sleeves from A1 racing ( http://shop.a1racing.com/cok12452-h.aspx ), but these will not fit on my 280 struts.
  6. I have one. I'll get some pics and send to your email account.
  7. I've bought 2 over the past year, specifically from the 81-83 ZX. The first was $100 and the second was for $250. I've heard closer to $250 as being average for these, at least locally in my area.
  8. Welcome to the forum. Looks like a great project! What are your plans beyond the TLC?
  9. I have a set that I recently restored. I'll PM you with pics this evening.
  10. ^This. Based on your description of just wanting to lower it a little and being cost conscious, take a look at this option: http://forums.hybridz.org/topic/117631-new-s30-shock-and-spring-option/ The second page shows a before and after ride height shots on a 240. These are very well priced. You can get Stagg springs and Vogtland shocks for $294: http://brandcarparts.com/catalogsearch/result/index/?dir=desc&order=price&q=260z I don't know of a better priced option for all four corners. There's more involved, though, than just replacing shocks and springs. You should also be checking all bushings, ball joints, tie rod ends, sway bar end links, etc. These things can add up quick.
  11. I did similar research and was going to use the same kit with my AZ Z manifold. Subscribed.
  12. I remember Warren had draglites on his white 280zx at DNI.
  13. Yeah, that's the MSA type 1 air dam for a late 260z or any 280z.
  14. That's extremely cool. Is there a date I can put on my calendar for when this one will be on the market?
  15. Those wheels and tires look so good.
  16. Motamec makes BSPT to AN adapters. There are other companies that do, as well. However, I believe all the fittings for the thermostat housing are metric. The temp sending unit is M16 x 1.5, for example.
  17. On mine I drilled out the hole in the insulator so that the threaded portion of the cartridge would fit through. Then I used a strap wrench to hold the shaft of the cartridge while tightening the nut down with the insulator in place.
  18. Buy this manual and read it cover to cover: http://www.jagsthatrun.com/Pages/Datsun_Z_V-8.html It will answer all your questions and more.
