  1. I made it to this one and started to bust up laughing: • While driving yesterday I saw a banana peel in the road and instinctively swerved to avoid it....thanks Mario Kart. this one is also so true: • I hate when I just miss a call by the last ring (Hello? Hello? Dammit!), but when I immediately call back, it rings nine times and goes to voicemail. What'd you do after I didn't answer? Drop the phone and run away?
  2. cyl #5 gets hot spots there is a thread about it. http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=125186 good luck
  3. those are a cast piston
  4. im sure someone makes a silicone coupler that may work. Try this place http://www.siliconeintakes.com/index.php?osCsid=83b4e46ed87b2e0f19ee037e30c9e3a7
  5. I have 33" tires right now. this thing is never driven on the street and hardly ever above 40mph the engine is stock so it has however much power a '78 280 has. also im not worried about breaking drivelines or axles they are very strong for what I do with it. I will call a converter place next monday and see what they recomend. Jeremy
  6. they have the same in the frnt but the output shafts are different and the 700-r4 is longer.
  7. thanks guys thats what I thought was going on, I would go 700r4 but there is not an adapter to my t-case and I dont want to buy another one. Jeremy
  8. Ok so I got my project up and going. It is a suzuki samurai with a L28 in it that is hooked up to a turbo 350 trans with a custom adapter that I made. The engine is all stock except a 2.5" exhaust and it runs on propane via a impco 425 carb with the Arizona z car intake. My problem is that it is extremely slugish driving around until like 3500rpm. The car revs up when in park just fine, but in drive with the brakes pushed in it will rev up to 1200 rpm and just stay there. the car weighs 3000 pounds has 4.10 diff gears, 1:1 high range and a 2.28:1 low range. High range I cant even drive around and low range is ok but there is not power like with the 5 speed. So should I look into getting a higher stall torque converter or try some lower gears first? im lost on what to do right now. any help is good help and I can answer any questions that can help diagnose my problem. Thanks, Jeremy
  9. Im sure those are semi engines. as a 6cyl cummins ina truck is a 6bt and should be smaller than those inthe link. you may look into the 4bt those are smaller and lighter. I just found this place it has a ton of good info for dims. and weight: http://www.4btswaps.com/forum/showthread.php?t=8187 Jeremy
  10. yes you can replace it without removing the trans. It is very easy.
  11. I have one setup. everything but the edis coil pack and vr sensor. let me know if you want it. I can go to the junk yard for a sensor also if that helps any. Jeremy
  12. Do you think that it could be mod. for a 6 inch wheel? That is that mine is. Jeremy
  13. what dia wheels are these sensor brackets for? my wheel is fairly large. Jeremy
  14. I did not put any in mine and I have no leaks. Just screwed them in and put the head on. Jeremy
  15. well your head is a round port (n47) and the p90 (turbo head) is a square port head. your cam is different but I dont think that will be too bad. the pistons are different also. the intake from the p90 will swap over to your head. to get the oil feed line just tee off of the oil pressure sending unit and run a line to the turbo. I dont know anything about injecters so I cant help you there. and a stock or aftermarket downpipe should work if you use the stock mani and turbo. but im sure there are people that can help you more just give it time, this is a slow forum kinda. Jeremy
  16. OK i was just sitting infront of the computer and was think about this. Jeremy
