  1. wow and the r35 only cost around 80k. and how much does the gt3 cost? that's amazing. and they say that the r35 has more technology than any porsche on market today. atleast that's what i heard.. trully an amzing car!!!!
  2. ya i have also had my last two z's with full and half caps on them. i'm currentley driving my z every day and it holds up great. plus i think it looks fine. here's is a pic.
  3. m1noel- how many miles per gallon are you getting with your engine swap. what's the worst per gallon and what's the best you think you could get (practically).
  4. no but i'm sure the four barrle would make more hp.
  5. thats a very unique color, but i love it!
  6. i've herd a lot of negative things about blow through systems. plus i don't think you can have a stock holley, edelbrock, or any carb at that being used in a blow through system. if it were so easy and drivable you would see a lot of people doing it. i use to have a four barrle conversion on my l26 and it did about 15 miles per gallon average. i don't even want to think how bad it would be if i had a turbo in addition to that humungus 4 barrel carburetor. if any one is thinking about doing anything with a turbo you should first read my favorite book: maximum boost. just my two cents
  7. me too. could one of the administrators see what they can do about this?
  8. i agree with mjlamberson. it has a lot of potencial. keep up the good work.
  9. ya, watever you have to do to get the widest tire under your fender. i don't understand why people hate using spacers so much? tell me if i'm thinking about this in the wrong way. the way i see it is like this. lets say you have a rim that is eight inches wide, with 0 offset. so you have four inches on the out side and four inside. now you have a rim that is also 8 inches wide but it has a 40 offset. in order the make it fit you use a spacer to make it stick out so it fits like the 0 offset rim. so that rim with the spacer on it is now back to a zero offset. if the dimentions are the same then why do people say that spacers mess up the bearings? this is just somthing that i just don't understand maybe somone could explain.?
  10. i can do the swap but it definatley will not be cheaper than the toyota kit. making a bracket is not easy and takes a lot of time and labor. how big are the pistons on the 350z caliper? i don't even think they are bigger than the toyota. if you really want to do it, i live in la.
  11. that's a nice rim. you think is't possible to get the nine inch rim to fit in the front?
  12. ya, post us some pics. i'd also like to see how it came out.
  13. i got $17. it looks like a good deal. get it! you can't go wrong for $17. if it doesent work use it as a block to keep your car from rolling when you park it on a hill.
  14. i di the same thing. it was easy and looks like new. every time i get out of my car my leg hits the door and the paint has still held up great. i got it from pep boys. highly recomended!
  15. if you have an early 74 260z bumper it is basically the same. the originall 260z bumper was made to be farther from the body. but you can push them in and make brackets to hold them. this is how it looks before you push them in. this is how they look after you push them in.
  16. 280z turbo, what is this 300zx brake kit for the rear you are tallking about? were can i get more info about it?
  17. the only kit i can think of that would be a good balance for the toyota would be the mustange cobra kit. zmaco is on the dot.
  18. it depends on what you have in the front. if your front is going to be stock then you should use the maxima or 240sx caliper. what do you plan on running in the front?
  19. the spacer you want to buy is not the rite size for the vented setup you have. plus they probabley would vibrate. there is no generic spacer mass produced for your kit but you could buy one from silverminemotors.com. you also do need longer bolts to hold the rotor and spacer on to the hub. you can buy those at any hardware store.
  20. heads up if anyone wants to buy sportmax or konig wheels i am a dealer. so pm me if you nned them. also can get tires.
  21. i've done it in my 68 bug and i would not recomend it. it came out pretty good but it took way to long and was pretty hard. i later found an interiour shop that did it for about $40 more with all the labor and parts. so i told myself that i would take it to the shop next time it needs to be done. that would be my recomendation.
  22. i've spent $8000 and i haven't even got to the engine.
