  1. Stock LS1 will make that power and better than 20 mpg.
  2. zdriver.com is pretty much an S130 related site
  3. I wanted the new Altima to be RWD so bad, it would be a cheap way to have a 350Z with a backseat (G35 = expensive)
  4. I know theres atleast one, I remember reading about it..
  5. I beleive there have been a few 500 caddies swapped into first gen Zs, dont remember any names off hand, though. Answer to the first question is no, the 260Z and 280Z have essentially the same engine bay. Unless by 280 you meant 280ZX, someone else would have to chime in on that one. Stock rearend in a 260Z should be an R180, which would likely go boom behind a stock 500 caddy. An R200 is an easy upgrade, but I seriously doubt it would stand up to a built 500. You could do the R230 swap, or convert it to a solid rear axle like a 9".
  6. I hope not, that was my first choice for a spoiler..
  7. Doesnt Jim Cook Racing still sell that spoiler? Edit: Here it is - http://www.jimcookracing.com/catalog/page11.html
  8. I watched it on TV today, and although I realize something is lost in translation between reality and what ends up on TV, it seems to me that 1 Quick Z has exemplified an overall dishonest character on both Pinks and King of the Strip. I would honestly love to pull for a Z car anytime possible, but its real hard when the owner wont race honestly. Just my opinion. I foresee this thread getting nasty, I hope we can keep it civil, guys.
  9. If you could perhaps find a solid 240 thats been totaled in the rear, I would go for it. I doubt there are very many of those, though.
  10. Stupid me, I thought the 08s were RWD :/ That brings the cool factor down abit, I had high hopes for a cheaper G35.
  11. Got a new sketch for ya. I realize its abit off, but I did it in poor light with 0 references. Still need a new scanner. Sorry for the size :/
  12. Indeed, go over that sucker with a magnet hardcore. I'm sure I've seen that kit in a picture of an old, old ad somewhere in the Gallery.
  13. That bodyline and the rocker line help make the cars appearance to me, I love them both.
  14. I guess being that it stays in water, it also stays cool enough to not melt. Rest assured that a real weld is unarguably better than a compound of some sort.
  15. JB Weld, better than a real weld? Dont count on it. However, it should be a viable option here, as it holds up well in situations where it doesnt get heated and cooled often.
  16. Dont think it's been mentioned yet, but the 240Z has an indention on the quarter panels for the rear bumper. No biggie, the bumper will clear on a 280 without it.
  17. This 300zx probably doesnt have emblems on it, huh?
  18. Early 74 260Z - 4 speed, N42 block, round top SU's 75 280Z - auto (5 spd swap coming), all stock for now
  19. Was looking at 450SLCs(my fav Benz) on google and came across this Dunno if this has been posted before, but thought ya'll might like to see if it hasn't.
  20. L20A, base model motor for the Japanese-spec cars.
  21. His website says Konig Monsoons in 17x7 +42 offset, 4x100 pattern, using Honda adapters.
  22. OTM, I did that as a quickie about a year ago, you should see what I could bang out if I sat down and worked on one for about 10-12 hours. Easiest way to learn freehand, in my opinion, is to just stare at your car. I have honestly sit in a chair and stared at my '75 from one angle for a solid 45 minutes. I should really do some more drawings to post up..
  23. ^ My '86 NA2T is a GLL model with factory power seats.
  24. This is pretty old (I could do a lot better even then, it was a quickie) and I had to take a picture of it because my scanner was on the fritz, but it's the only one I've bothered putting on my computer.
  25. Cygnus, I wouldnt think so, unless you were REALLY adamant, and drew a lot more than 3 angles.
