  1. I can hear the wind whistling through here.

  2. Cool truck! Sounds like a bitchen project. Glad to hear you're gonna paint it. There's already enough orange 620's in Orange County.
  3. Wow! That is funny! Were you alowed to at least keep the plates or do you have to turn them in? I'd just turn in one of them if I had to and, just say the other one was lost or stolen. What a conversation piece! I always wanted "6UL DV8" but, go figure.
  4. The pictures may have been moved or deleted from the image hosting site. It happens.
  5. That is totally cool! Anytime I hear a story of somebody rescuing anything with an internal combustion engine from the crusher or chicken coop purgatory, it's always inspirational. The fact that it's a Z warms the cockles of my heart even further.
  6. Oh, yer one of those guys too, huh? I think your mod ideas sound cool! Anxious to hear / see progress reports. And, by all means, do the 6-speed thang.
  7. I agree, that sounds kinda cool. Pleese post some pics of that job, if you do it!!!
  8. PayPal Outage Disrupts eBay, Online Sellers Friday By Ina Steiner AuctionBytes.com June 01, 2007 Online sellers were reminded how dependent they are on eBay's online payment service when the PayPal site went down for several hours on Friday. eBay posted a message on its Systems Announcement Board at 10:25 am Pacific acknowledging the problem, and posted at 1:29 pm Pacific that the problem had been resolved. One seller reported the outage on a message board at 7:17 am Pacific. An eBay forum post reported the problem started for them at 9:23 am Pacific. Another seller wrote that the timing of the outage was particularly bad coming "the morning after all the 20¢ listing auctions ended." (eBay held a 20-cent listing day on May 24.) PayPal spokesperson Amanda Pires said the issue had to do with a database problem. "The site is up and running with full functionality now and we have a dedicated team to diagnosis the issues and its causes." http://www2.ebay.com/aw/core/200706011328001.html
  9. Like the front of an old t-shirt I useta have said...."Yngwie Who?" LOL.....Ing-Vay isn't quite as noodlie in his playing as some of his contemporaries. A little of that goes a long way. I've always liked Yngwie.
  10. Wow! Very inspirational. I wish my '57 Musicmaster had four extra pickups and a whammy bar. Nah, that still wouldn't help. He's got mad skills. Rock-on, Beavis!
  11. Thank you for the kind comment. I try and keep her pretty but, I don't baby it. This lil pumpkin does get a work out regularly. She sick right now with breathing difficulty but, I will post a couple of sunshiney pics when I dig her out of the garage again.
  12. The grill emblem looks like it might be worth saving. I've seen new ones go for as much as a hundred bones. I'll give you a buck for it. I like having spares for my '73. How's the inside of the gas tank look?
  13. I say, buy all three of 'em. I'm not a big fan of the round-fendered Falcons but, hey. Of course the Z is best car ever created, so... But, the Celica....I've always wanted one. One of the few Toyopets I'd ever even remotely consider owning.
  14. I wonder what the Miata forum guys would have to say if you ask the "Z" question there?
  15. I believe these are more fine examples of the Noble M12 GTO. Yes, they did come that way. Cars & Coffee is a venue that some FoMoCo execs, that were fans and frequent attendees of the now defunct Crystal Cove Saturday meets, provided as a temporary measure till another site was secured. The FerdMazduhAhhstonMartin HQ parking lot has become an overwhelming success hovever and should continue indefinitely. It has much more dedicated parking space, easier access, a little less "beach-cop" saturation, and a little less stroller/aging MILF poodle parade, and a lot less of the large groups of middle aged men in florescent bicycle shorts that you would have to dodge occasionally as the pack rode down PCH. Though it lacks a Starbucks and the snobbery charm of Crystal Cove Promenade, I still like this event.
  16. I've bought X pipes here before: http://www.drgas.com/store/product.php?productid=2&cat=0&page=1 From 2" to 4" for $175
  17. Yeah, she can’t cook, either. However, I still find here extremely attractive. You see, with all that Conrad Hilton inheritance money that I would be embezzling from her accounts, I could afford to eat very well nonetheless. Yep, I’m in love with that little skank. That'$ hot.
  18. Ah, very aggressive, Joe! I kinda liked the four little knuckleheads wearing matching half-helmets. Super ichi-ban!
  19. I have seen that before. There used to be this old coot in my neighborhood that had a pea soup green 280Z, complete with wire wheel hubcaps, white mudflaps with reflectors on 'em and, a white vinyl half top, separated by a 4" gold anodized strip across the roof. It was just hideous but, he looked awful proud of it whenever I saw him on his usual 35 m.p.h. cruise through town.
  20. W W! That's nothing like the average cheesy kit car. Quite an EXAPLE of what someone can do. "Also to the winning bidder goes the interior of their choice." I'd like a '58 Edsel Citation interior for comfort, style, and ergonomic reasons.
